Neo’s eyes hurt because he’d literally never used them before. He’d spent his whole life asleep in that pod until they woke him up.
I saw this in high school. Things were never the same.
In part 3, Neo was handed the spoon from the matrix, which is impossible. Then he started having supernatural powers in the "real" world, which is also impossible. So the real world doesn't exist, Zion is also the matrix.

@@GeorgeAdrianBalas You can't have magical powers in the real world. You can't be connected to a computer without a wire. That's a breaking of the rules of this universe. So in my opinion the whole thing was a matrix.
@@GeorgeAdrianBalas The "real world" is a matrix for the submissive, and Zion is a matrix for the rebellious. That's why the architect said that Zion has been destroyed many times before. Because it's all a program and it repeats itself. That's the whole point.

Trinity and Neo knew each other as hackers in the Matrix. She “Knew a lot about” him before they met at the club. So she had reason and time to fall for Neo.
Neo knew a lot about her also, as I remember it, he said something about him thinking she would be a man.

Cypher sneezed on purpose to give away their position. His deal with Agent Smith was to give them Morpheus in exchange for being put back into the Matrix
This movie took me completely by surprise when I first saw it, even after watching the trailers I had no idea what it was about.
This movie was so groundbreaking, they actually developed the 360 timelapse effect just for this movie and all movies after it took over the special effects.
Bullet time is so fascinating when you get down to the technical aspects of it. Part of the tech was there, but they pushed it further than anyone had done before, in ways that went right to the edge of what technology was capable of.

You stay in Wonderland, and I show you just how far down the rabbit hole goes.
There I something I think you guys missed in the discussion part of the reaction. YOu all were discussing characters and you didn't really delve into agent Smith. There are several curious things I noticed that were happening with him as he spoke with Morpheus. Go back in a rewatch and take note of the fact that AGent Smith is getting frustrated at not being able to catch Morpheus and his team members.
That should not be happening a normal program wouldn't care, they would just perform their objective as given. Agent Smith is also taking time to think about the human place in the ecosystem and how pervasive they are, but this has no benefit to help him catch them.
BASically, Agent Smith is a computer program that is starting to exhibit human traits. That's why the other agents couldn't understand what Smith was doing when he unplugged. They still think like a program. Smith even mentions that he is becoming infected with human frailties as he interacts with them more and more.
When AI was invented it was a leap forward and probably somewhat unexpected. Then, the machines construct the agent programs. The problem was that the Matrix wasn't perfect. It can't be because humans aren't perfect and the machines that built therefore cannot be perfect. So, I suspect that the Agents are given a higher level of programming and autonomy in order to hunt freed humans running around free in the Matrix. And, Agent Smith evolves to have his own freewill and intelligence and desire. We make them, they destroy us. They make their own servants. Their servants destroy them. It's like there is a self-destructive loop.
Apocalypto (2006) it’s a great Mel Gibson film!!

Therefore, whoever can bend the Matrix the best, is the master within it. Programs/agents can only bend so much because of limited capacity, whereas humans have a much higher capacity to overcome their limitations. Afterall, we created the machines to begin with.
welcome to the matrix. This movie screwed up the brains of a whole generation of people.
I suggest watching "Philosophy and the Matrix" doc that came with the box set. it explains the connections of the philosophy references in the movie to the actual philosophers.
