I think this is the best way to learn blues is by getting the masters’ riffs in our souls, and then bringing our own creativity to those ideas. Thank you. More of this, not “blues scales” which these masters didn’t know or care about.

You're a nut Christian, and it makes the rest of us feel comfortable in our nuttiness, and learn more easily. Thank you for that. Greetings from North Carolina USA!

"and it makes the rest of us feel comfortable in our nuttiness" There is wisdom in that. Everybody is nutty somewhere , silently, feeling freakish. So why not celebrate that which also unites us..;-)

The obstacle for me is finger independence. AS a drummer I can deal with independence at several levels but separating right hand fingers from left hand fingers is another matter. I've devised one exercise to improve that. I may need a couple more. So..at the moment I keep working on these blues memes.

Well, I give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that in Australia the pianos are outside the house. ;-)

Is there a relationship between cannabis and jazz musicians? I think there is: I still love the "feel" of stoned music but I'm beyond the illusion that I'm "better". I'm not. I'm sloppy and crazy, all over the place. I still love the stuff but it's getting in my way. I mean the cannabis. Gotta slow down. Cough cough.....
