Honestly y'all this is pretty much an homage to WOFWalker's work (with my own touch added to it) so credit for scene inspo 100% goes to them.
So. This is it. My first foray into this fandom.
Some notes:
- 141 different frames in total
- took me like a week and a half but I only worked on it for five days
Why does it say "rough ver." you ask? Because I'm hoping to post a more polished version on here once I get it done. Whoooo boy. Might take a while, tho.

No shit same. I was like half way through the donghua and didn‘t understand shit. Now, that i watched the drama, the donghua, read the novel and literally ✨inhailed✨ a fuck ton of fanfics, i laugh my ass of and connect all the lines and my brain is like: That‘s canon, they would do that😂

I love how Wei Ying's hair goes from up in a ponytail to down to his Yiling style while he's standing in the wind gush from Nie Mingjue's table dive. That was a seamless transition.

I can't tell all. But from bottom right, jin ling with fairy. Next to it wei ying and the rabbit. Then top right, shi jie and jin zixuan? Or jiang cheng's parents? There's also wangji with his guqin. Then there's a pic of the rabbit alone. The baby pic is jin ling when he's a baby. The adult with the kid one, is it wei ying and a yuan?

I never thought I'd ever see this crossover between John Mulaney and MDZS. I was confused, blown away, flabbergasted, and overwhelmed by this video. In short, I have fallen in love with you!

There is another animatic posted by WOFWalker in 2018 that used the exact same audio. Storyboard is pretty much the same too but the art style is very different from this one.

Yeah this is heavily inspired by wofwalker's vid -- when I started this I had no idea it existed and then a friend linked me to that and I was like "Oh wow there's already a precedent, maybe I shouldn't change so much because people will get mad."
Like, think of it as a homage?? Kinda?? I just wanted to shove the Juniors in there and draw some scenes but 3am brain said make an entire thing

The only thing I can think that would make this funnier is if instead Wen Ruohan, the party was held at Jin Guangshan house.
Heard this audio a million times but it never gets old!! and the art is simply gorgeous as well :))
I really love it 😍 but if I may give my opinion, I think it would be better if Jin Ling, Sizhui and jingyi wasn't there, because the way it is narrated makes me think the story (in mdzs verse) happened when Wei Wuxian and the others were young, so the junior trio wasn't born yet! Instead, you could have drawn his father, Jin Zixuan with Jin Zixun, maybe. Anyway, it is just my opinion. I really enjoy the animatic and laugh it loud 😊
