When I first started out reselling I got suckered into buying a few knock off designer purses from a garage sale just like the garage sale you went to that had all of those jerseys! I even asked if they were knockoffs and they told me that they were legit and basically said the same thing you said this guy told you! That's why whenever I see a garage sale with all new merchandise I walk away! Last weekend I stopped at an estate sale on the second day, half price day, and the items were still overpriced at half off! It gets frustrating but you know that it's not always going to be a home run every time you go out sourcing! It's always good to show both sides of the coin like you do so that others realize this too! It is actually a lot of work that goes into sourcing to resell!!

I doubt all the Jersey were fakes, i dont think they are knocking off crappy Bengals players, some of them could have been fakes but there should have been much more obvious signs than just the feel of the fabric, I wish you would have got more footage looking closer at the fakes

Some great colognes you scored there. Armani code absolu is one of my all time favourites, recommend holding onto it for date nights if you're into that sort of thing. That said you can probably fetch $100+ for that bottle alone if you just want the profit 💰
I would have loved the jersey sale but I didn't see any Buffalo so idk , I only rep my teams from my city ( except the Yankees and Knicks) I don't watch those sports but if I did I'd watch Toronto and idk about basketball
Yes it’s very true we went to what was supposed to be a Community Yard Sale an hour away & nothing…Nobody was even set up for it…I was down then on our way home we found some & stopped, got some good items…so yes don’t give up & follow your dream to the ones you do find & remember there’s always Good Will 😂😂 Which half the time I can’t believe what people donate BC it’s so Good 😊
When I see cologne or perfume being sold in certain places I think to myself it might be fake. I am wondering are their things you look for to know they are legitimate? Not sure if they are counterfeited much?? Vincent thank you for your videos, I appreciate the time and effort you put into them. Also, I am surprised how many people in the Cincinnati area have RUclips channels. Surprisingly I like a majority of them. :)
Usually fake colognes are in a generic type bottle and box with the name of an expensive cologne on them and somewhere on the bottom of the bottle it will say " made in china" fake perfume will rarely be in a fancy perfume bottle such as the ones Vince had on display! It would cost too much for a company to fake the bottle also. If you suspect a perfume is a knockoff or fake, Google the name of the perfume, and the size/ fluid oz. and check if the bottle and box match the one you are interested in buying! 🙂

Sounds like a mistake. Unless you intended to only make $20. If that wasn't your intention you either listed too low or those things you sold weren't worth selling. Free Shipping or not you should always have a rough estimate on how much shipping will cost and what your est. profit will be when you list.

If there isn’t comps on eBay, you can look in places like worthpoint but that requires a pricy subscription. If not, price as you see appropriate or price high and accept offers.

Question, you said you sold an item, but they wanted to change address. It appears you then refunded them. Why? Cant you just update the address when printing the label?
I had already purchased the label and printed it out. I told them I’ll have to refund and have them repurchase with correct address so I am covered under eBay. If you ship to an address that was not the original address that the buyer paid with, you are no longer covered under eBay.
I sell both stuff I buy to flip and also my personal things that I’ve decided to get rid of. If I have a video game that I paid $60 for and sold for $19.99, what do I use as my cost of goods sold? I don’t feel like counting the NEW price would be correct. Do I just not count COGS on these types of items?
I count them as what I originally paid for it. If I bought it new, that’s what the cogs is going to be. Not saying that is the correct way, that’s just what I do. I would talk to someone more qualified for a legit answer haha.
$60 is your cost of goods sold. Cogs is always what you paid for the item. If you bought an item at $60 and had to clearance it at $20, that's just the way it goes sometimes. A loss doesn't change the cost.
