Thank you Kaylee! I've been making amigurumi for years and just recently found out about making felt eyes with my cricut..LOL This will save me so much money on eyes and these are so much cuter! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for your generosity and great tutorial! I need to try your techniques. 😀 I'm new to cricut and your tutorial is extremely informative and helpful!
I do not enjoy watching instructional videos, but instead would rather read. Idk if it's your voice, the way u explain it so plain that anyone could explain it, but I could watch this video. And love that I can click the area I need an d get to it. Thanks for the explaining! I finally feel comfortable making eyes on my cricut
I love to hear that, it makes me so happy that you found my tutorial helpful! Thank you! The parchment paper just helps to make sure that I don't get any of the sticky stuff from the heat bond on the mat.
I needed this!! I was looking for felt eye tutorials but could find any good ones, and then I realised they were all on other cricut machines. I got my joy a few months ago and haven’t used it much as I spend most time crocheting and I really wanted something I can make on the cricut to use in crochet. Video was great! Thank you
I’m so glad that you found it helpful! I was surprised when I got my Joy that no one had made a tutorial for it yet 🤔 I had wondered how to make them with the joy for a long time, so I figured others wanted to know too! 💜
Hello, wondering if you have any suggestions on making different sizes? I need anywhere from 12mm to 45mm. Can i just shrink these down/make them bigger or would i need to remake them completely?
Very well explained tutorial ❤🥰 I’m planning to get a cricut soon. I don’t feel comfortable using safety eyes. How do you add the eyelash part on the eyes? 🥰 do I add the half circle looking shape to the circle? ☺️ Update: I got the cricut, I can’t wait to make the felt eyes😍
Thank you for this tutorial! What do you use to attach the eyes to the amigurumi? I've seen some people use hot glue but I'd prefer another option. Thank you!
Hello! I was wondering if you iron on the details onto the heat and bond side facing up? Or is it facing down on the mat? What does the heat and bond do??
Thank you so much for this video! i just ordered my Cricut and cant wait to try it out. Sadly i dont have heat n bond in my country so im going to try out a couple of diffrent options that ive found. But im wondering what is the glitter you are using? what type of fabric is it?
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings Thank you so much! so hard trying to google and find stuff in my own language when i have no idea what it is 🤣 Again, thank you!!
My sons Golden Retriever got a hold of the Elmo character head from the one hat wonder by Lion Brand and pulled off the face. I have the Cricut Joy and the heat press. I would like to know how to make a new face for it, if it can be done. If not I will have to throw it away.
Hi I'm new to Cricut I'm actually getting one tomorrow. I just wanna know what supplies I should get to make these eyes. Like what are you using for the whites of the eyes ?
I used Iron on vinyl for the whites of the eyes. for these eyes you have to make sure you buy the iron on vinyl and not just the regular vinyl. You will also need felt, heat n bond and an iron to press the iron on vinyl to the eyes.
Hi so I got my Cricut and my felt does not wanna stick on the mat when I turn start the process of making the cricles :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
The heat n bond helps the felt stick to the mat. I have made them before without it and using a felt mat with my maker, but the felt sticks to the mat way better with the heat n bond. No matter which machine I use, I put the heat n bond on my felt now.
Um, I'm not completely sure. I don't think that the interfacing is sticky on the back like the heat n bond, so it wouldn't help it stick to the cricut mats
Thank you Kaylee! I've been making amigurumi for years and just recently found out about making felt eyes with my cricut..LOL This will save me so much money on eyes and these are so much cuter! Thanks again!
You’re so welcome! Once you get the hang of it, they are so fun to make and you can get really creative with them. ❤️
What great instructions! Thanks so much! You’re amazing! 👀
Thank you for the great tutorial. I cant wait to try making my own eyes.
Thank you so much for sharing this! You have been a huge help! You are so kind to do this tutorial!

Thank you very much for sharing, and sharing how to make along with the priject in cricut design space :)
You are welcome! 🙂
this is amazing, thank you! id imagine not doing any heat transfer instead of the heat and bond could i use regular transfer paper?
Thank you so much!! This is really helpful!
Imma definitely gonna try these. Ty for this tutorial
You’re welcome. Good luck ☺️
I wish my felt cut that amazing!
Hello, wondering if you have any suggestions on making different sizes? I need anywhere from 12mm to 45mm. Can i just shrink these down/make them bigger or would i need to remake them completely?
In design space, you can just shrink / enlarge them to change the size and it won't effect the end result.

Will the creatology basic felt work for this ?
Thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial.
Thank you so much!!!

I use hot glue. But I have seen some people mention that you can use fabric glue, but I’ve never used it.
Thank you 😊 I guess hot glue would be the strongest one since it would melt the backing of the felt a little.
My husband just got me the circut joy just so I can make amigurumi felt eyes.
Hello! I was wondering if you iron on the details onto the heat and bond side facing up? Or is it facing down on the mat?
What does the heat and bond do??
The heat n bond helps the felt stick to the mat! You iron on the detail with the heat n bond side facing down.
great video

The top part either the white or glitter is HTV or heat transfer vinyl.
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings Thank you so much! so hard trying to google and find stuff in my own language when i have no idea what it is 🤣 Again, thank you!!
I'm confused what the parchment paper is for while u are putting on the heat n bond?

@@bethcornmesser3414 did you line the back of the felt with the heat n bond?
I figured it out lol thank you 😊 you help me so much.
Can I do this on a ipad instead of a laptop?
Hi, for the cardstock my craft store doesn’t carry 100lb would 110 work
This project doesn’t use card stock
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings oh I thought that was what you were showing when you showed the card rock on the design space.
No, if I remember right, I used the card stock setting to cut the felt with the Cricut.
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings oh ok.
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings thank you for clarifying. It was my mistake
what kind of felt? im looking on amazon and i dont know what i should be looking for
I bought mine at hobby lobby, it was just the cheap $0.33 felt. It’s not super thick either.
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings i live in canada so i do't have a hobby lobby. i bought some at michaels and its thin. would that be ok
Hi do you still have the svg for the felt eyes please? It's saying project unavailable 😢
Yes, it should still be there. I've never changed it.
Do I need the heat and bond if I have a cricut maker?
The heat n bond helps the felt stick to the mat. I have made them before without it and using a felt mat with my maker, but the felt sticks to the mat way better with the heat n bond. No matter which machine I use, I put the heat n bond on my felt now.
I do not see the tutorial for the octopus. Can u guide me please
Thanks
instead of heatnbond (its not available here), will fusable interfacing work?
Um, I'm not completely sure. I don't think that the interfacing is sticky on the back like the heat n bond, so it wouldn't help it stick to the cricut mats
You really only need to mirror for text or for something that direction makes a difference.
Where do you get your felt?
Hobby lobby! It’s the cheap $0.33 felt.
I found the tutorial for the octopus.
Can't find you with either name on cricut
The link to the design is in the description.
all i can find is thin felt
Thin felt would work! It probably doesn’t need to be very thick anyways.
@@OkieGirlBlingnThings ok thank you
can this be done on the cricut maker or just the cricut joy
It can be done on any cricut machine! I love using my rotary blade on my maker when I make them with it!
