Even in a small town it’s never a good idea to flash cash around and especially not to make it known that he you have big wads of cash stashed away in your car and home. Sounds like he was big show off that needed to wave his money around to impress anyone that was within his orbit. Sad but that’s why you keep money in the bank.

I also live in small town but nobody is exposing his goods like this old man used to show the wallet and openly talk about amount of cash he is carying etc.I feel very sorry for him but that was big mistake,cause there is at least one nut around...

Me too, live in a small town but keep doors, windows locked at all times and don't flash the cash
So I guess the police never checked out the weird guy in town....a guy going around flashing large sums of cash is to me disturbing.
