38 years in the trade here. It's portland cement champ. Concrete has to have an aggregate for starters, as well as a different composition of materials in most cases.
I would suggest leaving room at the ends of the metal grate rods to allow for expansion. The expansion of the rods in a fire will crack the cement. Put a 5mm piece of foam or wood at the ends of the rods that will allow them to burn away and leave expansion room.
Also, three feet, a tripod, is more stable than four feet. With four feet, any difference in length will give you are base that rocks. From the way to created the feet, you should be fine, but tripods are generally more stable.
If you want it to last, you should wait a couple weeks before starting a fire and then make a small fire for a couple hours. High heat and wet concrete can be dangerous. Steam pockets build up inside the concrete and can actually explode. Refractory cement with perlite mixed in works really well and keeps more heat where you want it cause the perlite insulates.
This being made from concrete could explode in your face if it gets hot enough. I’ve seen it happen before. I wouldn’t make one of these contraptions to cook on. Best if you just make a stove from Clay Bricks instead. That would be safer.
@Irislorikeet - The white material is regifoam packing. This was used to make a space In the cement. Also cement can Crack at higher temperatures, so try building your stove with Clay. This will last longer!

Can you line the cement with refractory clay ... like maybe an inch or two thickness on the inside, or does the whole thing need to be made of refractory clay?
Well, I really liked your craftsmanship, very neat, clean, well thought out and came out amazing... great job. I recently purchased a lil stove like this (but it’s some type of metal) and today I actually bought a covered cast iron pot for it! So weird i came across this. 😁 can’t wait to try mine out. Thanks for sharing!
Where is this clean when all the asches just fall to the ground. For sure this has to be used outside, so the lightest windblow will distribute the ashes all around, mmmh not for me please
It's standard cement no matter what little things you do like, expansion room at the ends of the steel rods. Leaving it longer to dry or starting with a small fire... It will pop as that's what concrete does when it's used for fireplaces. You need special pumce fire cement as it's designed for building fires and pits for crucibles. Or save a whole lot of money and time and just use old fireplace brick which is instant and just as if not more effective for making this basic jet stove

Insulate the water butt with a bottom flow water pipe feed, and a top flow hot water return feed..
