6equence’s concept is like a movie. It potrays stages of love from the flutterring beginning until the breaking up and letting go (listening to the tracks in order). Lunatic is the phase where the relationship kinda confusing, your mood goes up and down like how relationship have its up and downs, that person can make you happy or sad ( i think that’s what the phrases shows, “take me up and down 12 times a day” ). That tiny door at the end of the mv was actually a sneak peek to her single album “Cheese in the trap”, released a few month after 6equence. Her new album will be out later today ( 20.2).
About the “take me up and down 12 times a day” I think it refers to the condition of a lunatic person, who is said to change mood very often. In fact, “lunatic” is a mental illness and I think that’s why the majority of the video is shoot in an hospital. About the wall with all the words, my interpretation is that those are words that a lunatic person use when “talking with herself”, and only when she can accept its status she can free herself from the “illness” mentality and be free to have fun simply being herself. Funnily enough, Moomoos are also Yellows (Nureongi), because we are fans of the Jjijil Crew (aka The Loser Crew), with members Ahn Sorry (Hwasa), But(t) (Wheein), and Love You (Moonbyul), sometimes featuring Yongyong (Solar). context: It's a running joke within the fandom, made known to the moomoos by WheeByulSa, that they call themselves the Loser Crew (Jjijil is loosely translated to loser) whenever they're without their almighty leader Solar. The 3 girls are SO chaotic when they're without Solar, and the MMM staff really just let them be.. so much so that the staff even let the Loser Crew take over their vlive account before a mushow performance for almost 30minutes, sprouting nothing but nonsense and improv (which was also the birth and debut of the Loser Crew's album and the naming of the Loser Crew fandom), that had everyone in the room and online IJBOL and ROTFL. I took the like “take me up and down 12 times a day” to refer to her emotional state. Like how when you become infatuated with someone you feel like you’re on an emotional rollercoaster. One minute your happy, then next your worried they don’t feel the same, then they say something that makes your feel special. 😂 the type of stuff that makes you feel like you’re going a little nutty.
I took the up and down twelve times a day to be that she is experiencing going between E (extrovert) and I (introvert) like a bipolar condition. The twelve times per day might be hyperbole to say it's happening too often. She's blaming the other person in the relationship for making her like this.

i think its worth mentioning that the subtitles in the music video aren't the direct translation, they're the lyrics to the english version of Lunatic (which is in the album) so i guess the meaning was changed a bit to fit the syllable count. overall the message is almost the same but you can go check the direct translation if there are any parts that confused you. also idk if it was intentional but i loved the wordplay in the title Lunatic ("luna" meaning moon)! she really has the prettiest name!
About the color yellow, it's Hwa Sa's favorite color, that and green. Just think of it that way, you made it yellow for that reason ;) Also, it seemed like you were wondering if Byul used her solo work to try different sounds of music. All of the members do, and it seems Hwa Sa and Byul's solo work differs the most from what Mamamoo's music sounds like (even though, as you get deeper into their discography, you will hear how diverse they are as a group).
