The build sheet could be in the back of the drivers seat,or behind the door card in passengers side and ,under the trunk,on top of gas tank
Those seat belt catches on the tailgate are KILLER!!!
Super cheap, clean design, easy and cool
Hot Rod Wives never receive proper credit. The hours. The “Going Without” for our “Gotta Haves” is a group effort a man cannot and would not fathom for something like Crochet or whatever it is that men allow women to venture in to, (theoretical humor for our two daughters, aka: my HR DEPARTMENT;-).
Parker nice job finding a car worth having a classic enthusiast spend the money and the time to bring it back to 1970. Thanks for sharing!
Real nice 70 SS
You won't find a nicer, more honest person than Tommy Beaver!
More Good stuff Parker. Thanks
lol I found one of those 70 chevells all original 396 4 speed air cond. she’s a beauty. Found mine in a barn and drove it home.
Beautiful shop😊
Tommy, if your reading this, pull the carpet up under the driver seat and see if the sheets there, if not, I know a good number of them got put above the gas tank as an “Easter egg” which wasn’t typical and was really rare to see. You can drop the gas tank or get a plumber friend with a boroscope camera and look up in there/ under the carpets to be as least invasive as possible. Nice ride!
Another great video Parker
man oh man, that was fun. Made my night. so cool. Thanks mate.
Worth every dollar solid piece of history 😊🎉
Great video Parker, keep the videos coming
Omg I'd love to buy that Chevelle 😮
I had a 69 SS396 4-speed. 325 H.P. Cortez Silver. A lot a car for a 17 year old. Today, I have a 69 Z. But miss that Chevelle still. Good video.
Those two fellas put in some hours on those old trucks man
Pretty dang cool
That is one hell of a clean chevelle. Nice video Parker keep it up.
Beautiful car. Tommy seems like a great guy...
Tommy! Love ya, Brother! 😎
I own a 70 SS 396 convertible with build sheet. Can't beat a Chevelle.
thanks Parker, another Great video with great cars you find all over the usa. very much Appreciated
Great Find Thank You Parker !!!! Great car /great owner
That's Autumn gold.
I guessed $30k price tag. What would that car be worth fully restored, Parker?
Started watching your channel last week and can’t get enough of it. Keep up the good work. You’ll be at 1M subs in no time soon.
That seat belt closer on the tailgate is beautiful!!😊
Wow, I am about 30 minutes away in the next town over and never knew about this car , nice car !
Nice chevelle ,hope it finds a good home. I have a 72 glacier gold blk vinyl top chevelle solid as that 70. Keep up the awesome videos.
What an awesome find.
Chevelles are one of my favorite cars.
I owned a 68' Beaumont in the mid 80's with a 327ci bored 30 over with an Iroc cam, Holley highrise & 600cfm carb, headers, etc.
A few yrs later I built a 71 Chevelle & also had q 66' Chevelle project car.
I also had a 67'Camero, a 67' Cougar & a 67' Mustang fastback. Lookung at the prices today
I wish I didnt sell any of them, they would be worth 10X's as much.
i remember seeing these 70 ,71 Chevelle's on the Dealership lot when i was a kid .
I love those 2 pickups. I hope to see them at the 2025 Hot Rod Power Tour . If they can handle the drive. No trailer queens allowed . Thanks
Love the chevelles my dad had a 72 SS Big Block 4sspd green on green
Awesome cars!
T shirt ordered. Parker if you make it to LI NY be sure to look me up, I'll show you some stuff. Be sure to stop by the G row at Corvettes at Carlisle :)
Parker good stuff
What a cool car
Really nice car. It's gonna make someone a really nice restoration project
HI PARKER , AMAZING CAR , great find.
TY
That's a cool car I like the bench seat and how they made it look like a normal car but it's a SS very very nice car very surprised that guy would sell it
I bought a 63 nova ss conv from AK there are nice cars in AK LOVE IT
great content!
Classic gold
Regarding this cars interior, the ‘70 I restored was Code 63, Desert Sand with SEVEN SHADES of Beige Interior, lol.
This man comes across a living a good life in a growing rarer Good Area of America.
His notes on the cars original and previous owners history are golden for those to follow.
Autumn Gold is what appears to be, IMHO.
Every time I see a stripe delete version I get excited, hoping it’s hiding a “Dual Snorkel” air cleaner.
A bench seat musclecar is also a personal fav as my left arm found a home when I was 14 driving trucks behind the shop, all manual transmission, but dads Galaxie having a bench seat FIT PERFECTLY when I was 15, sneaking out to head over to my future wife’s home to take her on a quick jaunt, (she was 8 months older and worth the risk given her two girlfriends were dating guys that drove … K Cars and Delta Regency’s , my feeling the need to provide a preview of a glass pack 390, which my 12 year older brother ended up pulling me over one time-soon after selling me out-dad for the first time ever, cautiously having a conversation, explaining what could happen to him-if i were to cause an accident, to me if I was hoping to receive the privilege the day I turned 16, ie: the luckiest SOAB alive from those days forward) but I digress!
Kids. Musclecars. Fathers taking a break from beating the hell out of their sons-speaking louder-getting their point across more.
PTSD. I’m glad we were blessed with daughters instead!
To this day, (since 1982) my mother-in-law still hasn’t a clue!

Super nice ride!💯Great job on the video!!💯
GREAT VID !!~
Wow that's cool as hell yeah man that sounds great to me too here ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That is a great Chevelle damn!!! 25 is a great price!
I wish I could find a decent Chevelle like this in my area!
That’s a great deal
that's a great car for that price!
Oh man I’m torn between a 70 Chevelle/malibu or a 33/34 ford for my next build. I want em all of course! Cool find!
I’ve seen these cars ordered with the bench seat and the shifter on the column a true SS I’ve also seen GTO’s with the bench seat and the shifter on the column It was more common than you think
In 1992 I inherited my grandmas 68 LeMans. Burgundy with white Cordova leather top. Immaculate white leather electric bench seat with drivers fold down arm rest. AC. Power brakes . 2 speed th300 column shift. Zero rust and under 28,000 miles. Protecto- plate.
Thanks
Get Patrick Glenn Nichols he know the 70 SS Chevelle.
My uncle Ralph bought a brand now green 70 ss.He had 15×10 CRAGERS on the back and small cragers on the front with Hijacker air shocks. My daddy said it rode like riding in a wheel barrel. 396 4 speed wonderful memories as a kid growing up in 1970.lol everyone.
Very cool video. Nothing like classic American muscle💪
25 GRAND?!?!?! Parker - You should have jumped all over that . . . . In a Heart Beat! We saw the original wheels near the 396 block also. He's going to have some serious Bidding Wars going on. His phone is going Nuts right now. I wish I could find a deal like that here in Southern California. Yes, I read about the one in the bay area in your comments. Great options on that one. They're really still out there, aren't they? Nice work locating this beauty. The build sheet is somewhere in there, I'm sure. Tommy's a good guy. Very upfront with the cars condition and care taken to keep it this great looking. I would return that 396 to factory original like it rolled out of the dealership 55 years ago. Matching Numbers AND Protect-O-Plate? Amazing!
They won't be out there much longer. So many people are buying up anything and everything they can find that in a few years, they'll be nothing. There will always be a few, here or there, that the owner never wanted to part with, nor their kid, but now they're both gone and they're for sale.
love how you show up and the guy you heard from the gas station attendant selling a car is already got a fuzzy mike on lmao...
Great video Parker and a Really cool Chevelle u don't find them like that good of shape 👍
I want it it's my dream car
my buddy had the 70 350 col shift and I had the 71 350 col shift, but i spent 25.00 for a cast iron 4bbl intake and another 60 for a rebuilt holly - we thought we were cool haha
That's a good deal.
I would give anything just to own a 70 SS Chevelle but I doubt that will ever happen where I live you just don’t get paid enough to get ahead. That’s a beautiful gold Chevelle
Looks to be a good honest survivor at a fair price in today's market.
The 1970 Chevelle SS with an original 396 is very rare
I just realize that myself! The 454 was the most optioned in 70. This has got to be the last of the 396? thats cool
Because they ALL blew up.
Is that block usable with the liners rusted like that?
@@chrisvig123 Very much so.
My 396 in my old 70 SS 4speed car lasted until 80 when's I started racing it with a 427 out of a 66 Vette and added a built Turbo 350. I miss that car more than all the others I've owned. ✌️
That’s an autumn gold, stripe delete car. There was no “amber gold” color in ‘70. Beautiful car-
I own a forest green metallic stripe delete 70 SS with a bench seat and factory four speed and the operational cowl induction hood.
This thing is an absolute steal. Someone is very lucky to get this car. Find one better fir that price. GOOD LUCK
Boxed Control Arms are specific to Rear Sway Bar equipped cars, no sway bar no need for boxed control arms.
one of the few I've seen at that age that doesn't need a donor car to redo
my neighbour had 1970 chevelle ss 396 that was black on black with bucket seats and center console with double white stripes he called it the LITTLE SKUNK
20-25k top. It's an auto 3 on the tree. Good video.
Worth every penny
He has been protecting this car, his friends have like super nice trucks... What does the gentleman daily drive? As he has his own garage.
guy in town said look for 366 truck cranks as they are 396 forged cranks. and dump trucks with 350's had lt1 cranks. look at the flywheel end and you;ll see the forging marks
Nice car and good price
how much?
great price!
Hi Samy here from Norway 🇧🇻.
I absolutely LOVE the american gold camaro T-shirt ❤ but then i find out that you guys don't ship outside of the USA, 😢😢 i would love to purchase 2 of them🤞🤞by the way. the 70 chevelle ss❤❤❤
Hey Samy, I am working on it! Will let you know in a video when you are good to order!
@@backyardbarnfindsthanks❤
Sold!!!! On my way to Camden.
Good for you, thats a great car
@@doug5516 Gold is a great color!!!
Congrats... stellar decision.
How much?
Not if I get there first
👍👍
If you ever come to the Virginia area I would love to show you my cars as well as my dads buddies cars. All in the northern Virginia area
Definitely a great asking price
Nice seeing the original wheels at 18:51, so much better looking than any ugly cragars
I bet the build sheet is between the gas tank and trunk floor, they either hid them in the headliner, back seat, or on top of the gas tank
Check above the glove box or under the drivers side front carpet and under the front seat or in the back of the front seat drivers side for the build sheets it should have 2 of them... also sometimes above the gas tank
I'd make a "survivor car" out of it with all that history. Get it running and dependable(also the A/C working) and make a driver. It would be a hit at car shows just the way it is. I had a 67 Chevelle SS 396 and it had a bench seat and column shift. It had been a demo for the sales manager because he didn't want bucket seats because he said they weren't comfortable.
💪💪
Better buy it, Patrick nichols scoop it up fast
I came to say this
Nah, not even GPN wants a column shift AT car 😂
Neighbor lady had beautiful Blue one for sale around 1978, SS396,actually in '70 they were a 402 (396 bored .030) and 4 speed, she was asking $1500 for it.
Like that
7:49 drop the fuel tank and look on top. That's where I found the build sheet on my 70' ss ls6.
Good guy. My best bud ms
Parker if you ever wanted to come down to the West Coast Bay Area in California, let me know my buddy has a 70 all original rebuilt 396 4 speed bench seat super sport Chevelle. Not restored with patina.
Maybe behind the door panel. Build sheet.
Yeee Yeee
If it was a Special order car would it have a SPO on the trim tag ? Special paint would also have a *
Nice car but its a low optioned base 396 car ! a/c was it. and more than likely a texas thing the a/c option that is.
@andrewslagle1974 AC has nothing to do with Texas. It was an option on about every car.
Heads in the trunk are not 69 L78 heads, they are ‘67 square port L71/L72 heads, still very good heads
That car's worth 25 Grand all day everyday!
That's funny Parker walks up to a guy at his house and he has a microphone on his shirt already wired for the channel isn't that a coincidence I wonder if the guy knew Parker was coming😮😮😢😢
My PA chevelle, had the build sheet in the door?!
Had a 65 Malibu chevelle build sheet in mine was under the headliner buy the visor
1990 called they want the 48 back lol
