Can an American please explain this sport too me a british gentleman.
    1. What is this sport exactly?
    2. How do they score points/how do they decide who wins?
    3. Is it as dangerous as the tv series yellowstone portrays it too be?
Thanks in advance to anyone who shares info on this I'm genuinely curious as I don't get it.

@@vincestark1108 I sense lies and sarcasm. From where I'm sitting they don't look very gentle they look annoyed.

It's a bit like cricket, no one understands the rules or scoring system but just pretend they do. 😁

Rules can change depending on circuit or arena. Animals are not "mean", what you see is most often provoked aggression for the ride. They come out of the chute like a wild animal because 1. They have been bred that way, this is their work, laborers if you will 2. Mostly because they are tightly strapped around their flanks and want it off. Spurring, prodding, etc. isn't uncommon either. My husband breeds and raises draft horses for saddle bronc. Believe it or not they actually enjoy it, at least most do. They have an understanding in a way of what's taking place and like to try and best their riders. None of the horses we have raised are intentionally trying to hurt any of their riders. Doesn't mean people didn't get hurt! Its a common myth that it is cruel. We have a famous saddle bronc horse we raised named Gold Dust that we retired from the circuit early due to back problems. He follows me everywhere through the fields, through the gardens, he's one of the nicest horses you will ever meet. Although he will nip at women strangers breast areas. Doesn't like them haha

In 2022 Stetson was 23 years old and had earned over 2 million dollars and had the time of his life doing it. I doubt he believes there’s a better job for him. He is one of best that has ever come along in rodeo. And he is only 24 years old idk what he is worth now. Btw you can’t start prca until the age of 18..so he’s having a great career and still more records to set or break…
