Jason, thanks for watching brother. Even if we missed some of the big run ups in the bull market at least we know what will likely perform well at the start of the next bull market. Now i'm wondering when this bear is going to show up. Wouldn't it be ironic if the bear showed up next month, or in November? We shall see.
$FTEC is my most successful fund, and I found this channel by searching for $FTEC. Reason enough for me to subscribe because this guy and I think alike.
Great video, thanks! I found it interesting FDN only has 42 stocks yet FTEC & VGT are at 343. Then I went out and found that VTI (vanguard total index) has 1,200 to 1,300 stocks
***Which Technology ETF would you most likely consider for yourself? If not one of these funds listed above which other tech funds are you looking at investing in?*** Remember past performance does not guarantee future performance.
Nioctib, great point. I totally agree. I think if one is looking to invest in tech that they act very cautiously right now and limit their exposure to a small percentage of their portfolio, because I believe tech will be the first to fall. Thanks for commenting I really appreciate it. Excellent point.
Finally some clear and easy to understand advice on investing and great suggestions on what to invest in for good dividend returns. I’m so glad I found your videos, sir. Thank you 🙏
Kirk, thanks so much brother that means a lot, and thank you for spending time with me on this really nerdy financial education channel :) I do my best to break things down in an easy to understand manner.
Dilaya, thanks so much for all the support. I really appreciate it. I have a lot of fun making these videos. Next new video will be published on Sunday 9/23. It will be a new investing related video :)
@@MoneyandLifeTV that's incredible espcially if he watches your videos ! 😩 You have a natural gift for making these 😃 and that bird then the songs 😆🙈😅 love it ALL. Please never stop 🙏 Oh and real quick have you heard of that guy Meb from Cambria? Any thoughts on his ETFs he suggests? Any ones you love? I did all 3 you spoke about in your other videos 😁
Good stuff. Im slowly buying these sector funds and waiting for a pull back before buying more. One question, if the dividend yield is 3% and they pay every quarter; does this mean i get 3% four times a year? Or is the 3% total for the whole year?
Hi Paul, fantastic question. Re: The dividend yield 3% is for the whole year. Therefore, each quarter you will receive 1/4 of the 3% in the form of dividend payments.
Lu, hows it going bud? Having an investment in tech can really pay off. These etfs often out perform the S&P500 in a bull market. So to answer your question I would personally say Yes. It could make sense to own one of these etfs in your portfolio in addition to a percentage of your portfolio in an etf like "Spy" However, It appears our economy is slowly entering a recession. If that is the case I would personally refrain from buying these etfs at the moment, because I believe the share price will continue to drop over the next year or so if we enter a recession. Tech is one of the fastest, and first sectors to generally drop during a recession. I'm going to keep my eye on these and the economy and try to add additional shares to my position at a a later time. Hope that helps Lu. Thanks for reaching out.
Hi Money and Life Tv, I think at the end of september. I would like to invest in the tech sector, but after I heard the news, I am not sure if I should invest in the tech or communication sector. What do you think?
Hi Sean, I think tech still has a lot of solid companies within it to perform well, but I do think it will lose some steam once some of its larger holdings move over to communications. Communications has been hit pretty hard this year and is under performing. Might be a good time to get in, but I need to take a hard look at before doing so. I'll be watching to see if Vanguard and fidelity change their investment holdings once these move over. I might take a starter position in Vanguard's communication etf before end of year, but not for certain yet.
Badass dude! Nice returns, I like it! Like you said with us being in a bull market currently, if the market turns around these are going to be the ones who get hit the worst! Watch out :o
Nick, my reallifemoney brother hows it going? Omg 25 away from 1K congrats man! You are doing awesome. I'm glad you caught me saying be cautious with these etfs, because if the market sinks like the titanic i'm pretty sure these etfs will be strapped to the front of the ship so invest with caution.
Hows it going Integra, thanks so much for watching. I 100% agree with your comment. Unfortunately, with the higher interest rates, mid-terms, trade wars, etc Tech is starting to take some hits. If the market crashes though FDN is one of the first etfs i'm loading up on.
Hi Morin, good question. I haven't looked in awhile since I produced this video, but I believe it did at one point. Not sure how they would stack up against each other now without further research.
Next new video will be published on 9/23/18.

Good stuff Mike. I love ETF's. I wish I would have jumped in on these tech ones many years ago also!

Nice! Thanks for the Sub George :)
Please do a follow-up video for this. As of November 2019, they are over 40% YTD return for FTEC and VGT.
Great video, thanks! I found it interesting FDN only has 42 stocks yet FTEC & VGT are at 343. Then I went out and found that VTI (vanguard total index) has 1,200 to 1,300 stocks
It's crazy how many different stocks these things own right? VGT is great index fund.

Money and Life TV No problem. Your hard work and research is very helpful and appreciated.
Just started following you and already can't wait for your next video! Thanks for what you do 😃

@@MoneyandLifeTV I just started investing so can't wait! 🙈👏👏👏😄 Did your brother in law get on board too?! 😃🤣😉
Hi Dilayla, I wish I could say he did, but he has not yet. You know the saying goes.....you can lead a camel to water, but you can't make him drink.

Hi Dialya, thank you for all of the nice feedback :) I have not herd of Meb from Cambria? Do you know where I can find information on his etfs?
Dude bad ass video. You go in so much detail on each etf. What percentage of a portfolio would you suggest be in the technology sector?
Do you like the spdr msci world technology etf?

Does it make sense to buy into one Of these IT ETF’s as oppose to just buying SPY shares ? I want to diversify but I also want investing to be simple.

Can someone please repost the link for the spreadsheet. Thanks.
Hi Stuart, i sent you on facebook please let me know if you do not receive. Thanks :)
Money and Life TV thanks. Love your videos. Keep them coming.
Will do sir, thank you :)
I recommend XLK over VGT..
You do know that facebook, amazon and some others are moving out of the information technology sector into the communication sector??
Hi Sean, thanks for commenting and pointing that out. Yes, I have heard that will be happening. Do you know when that is scheduled to happen?

Google and fb was removed from tech sector etf per sec

Great channel! Subscribed
The ones from ARK maybe good too
FDN would be a great buy when stocks crash !

So FDN beat VGT ?
