I would do the fence from front of house down and around the back, and do the walk way and bbq area near the gas line. Definitely a Retaining wall and a small area for plants across that side.

First, your ideas are great, remember your going to be having kids, so since your doing the yard and don’t have a change or update in later, pick are play ground area you like to be for kids and kids that come over, and maybe a small blow up kid pool are for hot days.. and if your coming back maybe a small yard area for veggies garden remember you don’t need to grew veggies in yard you can hang them pit in a raised bed or 5 gallon bucket for space saver garden.
Take off railing on porch it limits your options and make bigger deck/patio area. That space has lots of opportunity go simple and add more later. Safe travels thanks for sharing.
If your patio will be against the back of the house I would switch where the back stairs are so you aren't constantly having to walk around. Think about flow and ease!!!
