I think the reason why stormtroopers are considered to be bad troopers is because they can see there enemy face and the rebels can't see theirs. If you're confused let me explain during WW1 and WW2 most people never got a kill confirmed and they would miss on purpose but as for the vietnam war a lot more people got a kill confirmed and these people came home with very bad PTSD
@@wildwoodandonyx No this is actually true, soldiers missed on purpose, cuz it is very hard for a human to kill another human. (mentally). Look it up, it's a real thing. Although more common during the napoleonic wars, it also happened during wwI and wwII
Also, WWII was largely a European war and it was white troops shooting and killing other white troops. Kill rates were higher in the Pacific theater and in the Vietnam war because it was whites and Asians fighting and its much easier for humans to kill other humans that look different than them.
The Mulch stormtroopers aren't as good at shooting They talk about it in star wars rebels when rex wears stormtrooper armor (mainly that their helmets affect sight making it harder to shoot accurately)
The clones were really awesome throughout the series, they felt more like real characters fighting, dying, had some sort of classes and hierarchy. The stormtrooper feels like the same or more like a target practice for the plot.
Josh Dodge I wish more clones would have removed that chip like seriously the Republic was allready at a disadvantage fighting the Droid and the the clones joiNed the dark side :/
A lot of people actually. I think the Clone Wars is the most compelling era that we've seen in Star Wars. But head on over to Reddit and you will eventually see several people bashing the clones and the Clone Wars in general, saying they were unnecessary and George just making stuff up to fill a 2-hour movie.
Vader wouldn't have a chance against rex due to rex original training which rex was a early birthday of the bounty hunters DNA so that means he's one of the strongest clones due to battle skills and rex and his crew training and they never showed asoqua death in rebels and so that means there's only three possible outcomes of it death ran away to fight another day capture
Really anticipating the possibility of Lucasfilm going in depth on the events surrounding the Jedi Purge in canon. Mainly, what happened to the Clones (yes I read the Caleb Dume comics but still, there's more that needs to be explained)

I think Wolffe is better cause he is serious unlike Rex in the Clone Wars and although he lost an eye he fought unlike any other trooper who lost an eye..
i love Rex and 5s, but by far the most badass, athletic, and combat savvy clone was Captain Gregor. His story runs deeper and is immensely more well-written than any of the clones imho. just a total beast. 10/10
Sandro Where do you think he got the info about the battle xD? Such a good Star Wars momment, one battle with all Jango Fett clones. some of the story mode is not accurate to the books and comics though.

You see it's very simple, clone troops have something special called protagonist shielding so they don't die because they are "the good guys" but then they become bad storm troopers and lose that shield, so now they are basically minions in a sense so they don't mean anything and therefore worse

It’s weird that after the battle of kashyyk, that Vader found a new respect for the clones. Considering that he kind of fought with them for all of the clone wars.
I appreciate that you laid both cannon and Legend timelines. But, I found it a bit tough to follow along. I still really appreciate this information and your videos overall.
No clone will ever live up to how good Echo was, especially when he was with Fives, he was used to stir a small bit of emotion when he was killed off, but the way they killed him was a way that Echo was portrayed as being the hot-headed one but he would've never been stupid enough to try and take the walker because he knew it would be blown up.
My favorite clone troops were the ones from the 2003 Clone Wars movies. esp the guy that just runs up to a droid tank, jumps inside, and destroys it all on his own.
If something is canon it means it's a part of the story and/or larger universe. For example, Rogue One is canon to the overall Star Wars Universe, whereas The Force Unleashed is not canon. It basically means "this happened".
No, cause he still a clone, thus not making his template useful. Also, thats not how cloning works. If they did that, they could easily use other clones.
I think this should be addressed somehow in canon. Anyway, I think it was a bit foolish to completely abandon the Jango-Clone-Kamino project. Yes, each batch were less effective than the last, but you have a force of completely dedicated troops (who, I imagine, would still be on par with the average Stormtrooper despite being a weaker imitation of earlier Clones).
I think I'm going to start showing some of these videos to my kids who are almost 7 & 8 now. Last year was the first time they really started showing interest in Star Wars and I took them to The Force Awakens and then I realized that I have a lot of knowledge about everything because I was born in 1980 and I had the movies and I've watched them at least 100 times in my life but I don't know how to organize the information for my kids who are just learning about the world. When we were at the theater they thought Kylo Ren was Darth Vader and I had to whisper that it was Vaders grandson. And then when we were watching the prequels they were really confused by the fact that Storm/Clone Troopers were good guys and Vader wasn't Vader but Anakin was good but would become Vader. Trying to explain everything has been difficult but I think maybe these explanation videos might answer some of their questions. The other day we were watching Episode 3 and they asked why Anakins eyes turned yellow. It was one of those things that I understand just because I'm an adult and I just get what the filmmakers were going for but I can't explain it to them. And then I saw a video where you explain it pretty simply.
Stupendous Wave, where in cannon was it stated that many clones went insane after they realized the truth of Order 66, and the Separatists kidnapping Kix? Where did you get this information?
the part where u talked about the kaminoans creating clones to fight the stoormtrooper clones is a mission in swbf2 where u play as a stoormtrooper and have to kill the kaminoan clones
favourite clone would have to be Delta 62 (Scorch) from Republic commando. Would be awesome to watch a video about them and what happened to them after the clone wars
"What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word." Never forget, great video Btw.
Please forgive the silly noob question, but what does he mean when he says canon? I'm a long time fan of star wars fan since birth but I'm wanting to learn a lot more of the lore and back stories. Love the channel and keep it up!!
No he did not if you watch the episodes that never got animated he survived by getting turned into a human computer by Watt Tambor and Rex and the bad batch rescue him
Legends seems to make more sense. I don't get why the entire archives of the Expanded Universe was wiped out when most of it's historical background didn't effect the films.
So, in canon, the Clone Trooper Kix (sp?) was discovered by someone named Sydon Nathano (sp?) who we also saw in "The Force Awakens"? The movie version? Who was this character in Episode VII?
Volcolm, Yenno that people can live to 100? And that even the average is 80? Fourty to sixty, that's the range of age you'd be talking about, not 30 if SW has spoken true
+The Stupendous Wave Who do you believe would become the new grandmaster of the Jedi order if master Yoda were to die sometime prior to their downfall?
coming from a beloved fan of clone wars series, i love the canon one more, but at the same time, i think the whole "vader's fist" thing with him and the 501st legion was always sick as well.
I'm sticking with the old canon, because clones were clones for longer. No stormtrooper get up. There's plenty of time for that. Geez They'd only had phase 2 armor for a year. BTW Fordo is the man!
Saying that there are no more clones is wrong. In the force awakens you can here Kylo Ren arguing with general hux about his stormtrooper squadron not being able to capture bb-8 after fin lands on jakku. At that same moment, Ren says " Or perhaps I should consider telling snoke to use a clone army".
Kylo making that suggestion doesn't mean they exist. First Order troops are something in bewtween clones and the Empire's troops, not clones but raised from birth to have extreme loyalty to the First Order.
I agree Tomasz. Although My 5 favs are (from 5 to 1) Hevy, Boil's partner, Boil in that Clone Wars episode with all the Twileks (correct me on my spelling please) being enslaved and Obi-Wan, Rex, Fives.
Can you make a video about what happened to clone trooper cut when he abandoned the republic after the battle of Geonosis? Did he carry out order 66? Because he did not know anything about the inhibitor chips in his brain, what did he do when the order was issued? By the way I love the videos keep it up!
TimeTravelPony Well in the new canon, they explain that the problem was that the stormtrooper helmets inhibited peripheral vision to a ridiculous degree and therefore turned experienced soldiers into poor shots. This was an issue that the Clones didn't have in the first place and the First Order later fixed permanently
Basically Their weapon was very powerful but highly unaccurate The Helmet had very bad vision and plus if stormtroopers could aim there would be no starwars at all!!!
Wait a minute... The Empire let Boba Fett lead a major military operation, with the best clone military force? That seems silly... Was that in canon or legends?
When non clones replaced the clones, it seems a lot of humans were drafted. The problem with these drafted soldiers, they seem to enjoy their job a little too much. It's one thing to follow orders, it's another to be happy about it. Some of these soldier even act without orders. Hypothetically: If an interrogator orders the guard to not intrude no mater what he hears, then the guard shouldn't try and check even if it sounds like the interrogated killed the interrogator. He could explain later that he was specifically ordered to not intrude. Some guards will enter and try to restrain or eliminate the interrogated. Wow, but you were ordered to stay away. A good soldier follows orders. If a good soldier doesn't receive orders, try reading a book
Is that why Emperor told Boba Fett in Star Wars Battlefront II "I'm sorry to hear about your brothers." (Then Laughs)
“you’re not my brother!”
"The Fett clones considered the new recruits inferior..."
And boy, were they 100% RIGHT!
the new recruits couldn't shoot for shit
I think the reason why stormtroopers are considered to be bad troopers is because they can see there enemy face and the rebels can't see theirs. They formed an all male accapella group and traversed the stars singing.

Why would you want an accapella group of clones? They all have a similar singing voice...

Stormtroopers are not as badass as Clone Troopers
mazombieme
Thats so true !
mazombieme clone troopers can aim but i had no choice

We need a canon explanation of what happened to cody
Ayan Henderson nothing much happened to him he tried to kill kenobi and that's where his story is now maybe he'll show up in Rebels against Rex and there will be a fight one will try to persuade the other
Ayan Henderson I found him too.

@@skeettheman4061 it is canon
Its not cacon in my opinon the 2 death star made a big bang that made a parralel universe 1 without sequel (the good one) and 1 with the sequel
@@skeettheman4061 It happened in Legends too. Thats where Disney got their idea from and executed it in an inferior manner.
The only problem I've found with your videos is that I wish there were more. You do a great job of explaining everything. Thank you
Fives is my favorite clone, but he had such a sad death😢
Thanks for finally saying what ABY meant I never knew
NP :)
The Stupendous Wave
The Stupendous Wave was order 66 shown in the clone wars
Fiz zle ikr i still dont know what "canon" means
If something is canon it means it's a part of the story and/or larger universe. For example, Rogue One is canon to the overall Star Wars Universe, whereas The Force Unleashed is not canon. It basically means "this happened".
Couldn't the Kaminoans use Boba as a "fresh" Jango template since Jango requested him to be unmodified (i.e. exactly like him)?
No, cause he still a clone, thus not making his template useful. Also, thats not how cloning works. If they did that, they could easily use other clones.
EndNoble I think there's a risks making a clone out of a clone
Smasherfan88 But compared to what they were getting from the "stretched" DNA, they could've tried
Watch the movie Multiplicity and you'll see why cloning a clone is a bad idea.
In real life they cloned clone mice which had no side effects from being from a fellow clone so who knows..
Who’s here because of the Bad Batch?
amazing video! keep it up :)
Thanks!
The Stupendous Wave react to the John Lewis ad
Kayden King mm
good video
Thanks!
The Stupendous Wave sucks the clones died out good video
The Stupendous Wave could the clones have children
J&N Gaming and More! Cut Lawquane I think
J&N Gaming and More! What are talking about buddy? It's The Stupendous Wave
Hey The Stupendous Wave
Do you only make videos about Star Wars, or are you open for other universes?
Wolfbane_41 ikr
Wolfbane_41 he did jurrasic park for a bit
He used too, but I guess he gave up on those.
I guess that makes the battle of Kamino make sense in Battlefront 2..
This is my favorite channel Stupendous Wave you rock. My favorite clone would be rex or 5s
Thanks!
Stupendous Wave, where in cannon was it stated that many clones went insane after they realized the truth of Order 66, and the Separatists kidnapping Kix? Where did you get this information?
Fact Wave hi
the part where u talked about the kaminoans creating clones to fight the stoormtrooper clones is a mission in swbf2 where u play as a stoormtrooper and have to kill the kaminoan clones
yup just like battefront 2 story
Just like the simulations
Benjamin Petty just like shooting wamp rats aye kid
favourite clone would have to be Delta 62 (Scorch) from Republic commando. Would be awesome to watch a video about them and what happened to them after the clone wars
i kind of dig the idea of clones becoming stormtroopers i hope they touch on that in future films. and my favourite clone is Bacara
great content Stupe! :-)
Thanks!
The Stupendous Wave I have a question if the empire cept making clones and battle Droids do you think the e,pore would be more powerful
#Clonelivesmatter
Ohhh man. I remember playing Star Wars Battlefront II's campaign, following the 501st. Doing all these missions. Good times.
Who would you PERSONALLY like to see Snoke revealed as?
as his own original fucking character and not someone that already exist with all these dumb ass snoke theories.
lol definitely!
I would like him to not be called snoke
How about he's a lovecraftian cosmic horror communing through a giant humanoid?
Edward Keane JOHN CENA
I want to know what happend to Echo :/
Yusuf Green he died in clone wars
didn't he die in the clone wars series
He died in one of the unfinished episodes I think.
No he did not if you watch the episodes that never got animated he survived by getting turned into a human computer by Watt Tambor and Rex and the bad batch rescue him
He did not die in clone wars that's why i want to know what happend to him
good vid
Thank you!
=D
Legends seems to make more sense. I don't get why the entire archives of the Expanded Universe was wiped out when most of it's historical background didn't effect the films.
So, in canon, the Clone Trooper Kix (sp?) was discovered by someone named Sydon Nathano (sp?) who we also saw in "The Force Awakens"? The movie version?
Who was this character in Episode VII?
how fast do clones age
Twice as fast as a regular human.
Yeah those fuckers are out in 30 years top
Volcolm, Yenno that people can live to 100? And that even the average is 80?
Fourty to sixty, that's the range of age you'd be talking about, not 30 if SW has spoken true
Regardless those fuckers are out in 1/2 time than a human if SW is true
MrVolcomclassic I know, that's why I corrected you as you were closer to a third of a human life span, not half
+The Stupendous Wave Who do you believe would become the new grandmaster of the Jedi order if master Yoda were to die sometime prior to their downfall?
Defineately Mace Windu, he was even placed as master of the order for a time even while Yoda was there.
Jaiv Doshi well after windu died order 66 happened liked right after it, so the jedi order would not really need one being as its pretty much dead
John Jenkins uji
Mace windu
John Jenkins Jedi Movie Extra number 3
Thought he was saying fat clones 😂
Omg LOL 😲
who?
And now all I can think about is a fat clone trying to put on to to small armor
So many of my questions answered. Thanks
coming from a beloved fan of clone wars series, i love the canon one more, but at the same time, i think the whole "vader's fist" thing with him and the 501st legion was always sick as well.
Preserve the White Race yes it is
Kylo making that suggestion doesn't mean they exist. First Order troops are something in bewtween clones and the Empire's troops, not clones but raised from birth to have extreme loyalty to the First Order.
Fives was my favorite clone. Then it's Rex
Fives, rex and echo. Also, gotta say I really liked cody in the clone wars, but he's a trator, so fuck him :D
I agree Tomasz. Although My 5 favs are (from 5 to 1) Hevy, Boil's partner, Boil in that Clone Wars episode with all the Twileks (correct me on my spelling please) being enslaved and Obi-Wan, Rex, Fives.
Flash Flood same fives is awesome:D
Flash Flood kinda the same except the other way around
Same here fives first then rex
always great topics here
Can you make a video about what happened to clone trooper cut when he abandoned the republic after the battle of Geonosis? Did he carry out order 66? Because he did not know anything about the inhibitor chips in his brain, what did he do when the order was issued?
By the way I love the videos keep it up!
How come the stormtroopers are such terrible shots? I would like a video addressing that topic.
TimeTravelPony I've heard that they were trying to take Leia alive, so they didn't shoot to kill
Also their weapon of choice was rather poor in accuracy.
Basically Their weapon was very powerful but highly unaccurate The Helmet had very bad vision and plus if stormtroopers could aim there would be no starwars at all!!!
+Rezzymcdez True. Very true.
4:12 BATTLEFRONT 2!!
Wait a minute... The Empire let Boba Fett lead a major military operation, with the best clone military force? That seems silly... Was that in canon or legends?
He only "led" in that he knew the layout of the Kaminian facilities and was a chief advisor
Legends
Favorite clone is Fives, as he was one of the first to decipher the plot of order 66 but had a tragic death.
My favorite clone is TK-421. 😜
SerpensSolida+ my favorite clone is Jek-14
SerpensSolida e jc
+Captain Gregor the Joopa Hunter. dude. it does not matter.
My favorite clone is the guy who ran out of ammo, punched a droid, then died.
Captain Gregor the Joopa Hunter 0k. Then I don't have a favorite clone. They all look the same to me. WAIT! My favorite clone is Boba Felt. ;b
501st has to be my favorite. Run by Anakin, then Vader, they held onto may key morals that kept made them soldiers and had an iron will.
66 dislikes. Leave it alone! execute order 66!
Really great and informative, good stuff. Really well done
Great upload. Thanks
