This is the worst film to showcase his martial arts and physical skills with all the terrible editing and choreography (including the obvious stunt doubles fat had to use). Watch crouching tiger hidden dragon, that's where chow really is good at fighting. But again, though any actor can be a good fighter on screen, it depends if they have the motivation and time to learn the martial arts and the style of choreography required for the film.
Don't know if you just haven't been taught anything at all, but.. the heart isn't there.. it's higher up and more towards the middle.. the place they showed him get shot is like his lower ribs, he might have just barely hit a lung..
if you look very carefully, you'll see he grabbed a steel plate, he was smart and put it under his clothes, that's why he was bulletproof and didn't died.
Loved this movie. Watched it the year it released and many times after. Peter Stormere has always been one of my favorite actors in a villain role. They don't make them like this anymore.
