Fun fact, all the injuries are seriously censored. Jidanbo, his arms got cut off by Gin, not just slashed. Orihimie had to put his arm back on. I think someone should give you a list of the plot important injuries that got censored, helps you better understand the gravity of the situation, where the censorship makes it look not so bad.

There is really only 2 injuries that the censorship matters. If anything, if all the other injuries looked more sever then you'd never take the damage seriously given what people survive.
@@In-The-Zone I can see that, However that resulted in just so many people getting laid out from a tummy or shoulder slash. There's a good middle ground to be found there. I'd say there's 3 that mattered to me, when boobs got nearly halfed, and shorty did get halfed, and when science man cannibalized da bois. (Hopefully that was vague enough).
Kukaku doesn't have a prosectic arm in the manga, it's just cut off.
But then again, losing an arm is the Bleach way.

- Noble Clans are brought up again here. In particular the 4 Great Noble Clans, which was 5 before the Shiba Clan fell out of grace (for a yet unknown reason). The other Great Noble Clans that we know are the Kuchiki (Byakuya's family) and the Shihouin (Yoruichi's family). This is an important detail because they Nobles not only have influence but they have higher spiritual potential than normal.
- Komamura (Wolf Man) spoke about his extreme devotion to Yamamoto, he said that he owes Yama his life, so it's actually not random that he ran off, he's simply focusing on his life's priority.
- Kukaku is a Shiba, they are very well known because their Bloodline was 1 of the 5 Great Noble Clans, so most people will likely respect her, plus they seem to be on extremely good terms with people from the Rukon District.
Maybe I’m wrong but wasn’t it 4 great clans including the Shiba?

It was something like when The Nobles decided to disassemble SK, the Shiba Family Objected and thus lost their place among other nobles.

Interesting that Shunko doesn't manifest the same way between wielders. Sui Fon's looks like wind while Yoruichi's looks like lightning.
I don't know how far you are along since you made this commend, but keep in mind that elemental theme with Shunko, because the anime is close to showing another example of it with another element.

I have been following this, and I never finished bleach. There is a lot to like, but man does it show it's age. It's kind of wooden in place and the pacing is really... oof.
Soi-Fon against Yoruichi is still up in my top three fights in the entire series, there's just something about it over its episodes that I watch over and over again. But then again they are two of my favourite characters, so...that might be a contributing factor.

It's funny seeing them talk about how many plot points are going on right now. I'd love to see then when (or, if) they watch One Piece, that series has as many (and sometimes more) plot points going on all at once in many of its arcs lol.
So Yamamotos zanpakto is named ryojin jakka. Ryo means dragon as you learned but Jin translates to benevolent and jakka to divide. So if we were to translate it to English his swords name would be Benevolent dragon who splits the world to ashes.

Translation in dub is kinda shitty to begin with, those subtitles make it even more so. [Speaking Japanese] instead of zanpakuto names... Yay? Are the subtitles in the subbed version just as shitty on the website they're watching? Because that would make sub almost unwatchable unless you understand Japanese xD

Jūshirō Ukitake's shikai's name, Sōgyo no Kotowari, translates to "Truth of Pisces."
Shunsui Kyōraku's shikai's name, Katen Kyōkotsu, translates to "Bones of Heavenly Blooming Madness."
Finally, Suì-Fēng's shikai's name, Suzumebachi, translates to "Hornet."

You guys really should double up the episodes on these drawn out animes.
Wow even the dub itself makes silly mistake. "An execution battle is eminent." I think you mean imminent.
The dub is "fine" (to each their own). The subs to the dub are what is atrocious. You can hear the VA say the right thing and the subs show something entirely different. Like "Soi-Fon" becoming Sui Feng or something last episode.

If it wasn't for the censoring a lot people would not even know about Bleach. Considering how long ago it was made if it wasn't censored it would have to had been aired at 10pm or later as that's usually when more graphic shows tend to be on.
@@austin-1993 Ironic part is, as far as i can remember shows like Naruto etc. had a 13, or 14+ rating in Japan (correct me if i'm wrong). It was even at that time already far more common, for older kids/teens to watch Anime in Japan, so they didn't have to censor nearly as much, if at all.

It's the yellow stinger on her middle finger. Trust me, her bankai is much more noticeable when we get to it.

Wow the subs kinda jank this time.
This series, and this season in particular, really does not do well watching one episode at a time. They jump around SO much, trying to tell too many stories at once, that very little forward momentum is achieved almost all the time. Especially given that there are like 370 episodes, you guys might consider doing two episodes instead of one.

There's more than just 4 noble clans... there are 4 that stand above the rest as the greatest tho(Great Noble Clans)... Shihouin and Kuchiki are the only stated ones thus far... Shiba is noble but not one of the Great Noble Clans(top 4).
Shiba was a former Great Noble house. So there used to be 5 until the Shiba clan fell.
The novels give us the name of the other clans.
