I remember when I was in nail school one of my many nail instructors told me NOT to put on the tips in this position. I did it anyway and hadn't looked back!!!
Did they tell you to place them on in the typical way a lot of people do, when the hands are in the placement for getting gel/acrylic place on?
This way Tabytha did in the video is the only time I’ve ever seen tips placed on this way (like legit no one else had done that) & tbh it makes so much sense. You get to see how straight the placement is etc..put me on game.

I'm really loving the gel nails you have been doing, I've been very hesitant about trying a builder/hard gel. I was afraid I won't be able to control it, it took so much practice to get acrylic down and I love it however my boyfriend always complains about monomer. But watching your technique I think I'm going to give it a try!
