Excellent issues highlighted. It is not the first solo trip but every solo trip will teach you new lessons and you will gain new experiences. I made my first solo trip at the age of 20 to Amarnath and I got the support of many co-travellers when I became unconscious at Magagunas Pass. The majority of the people in any country are good but even in Italy and Austria my friend travelling with me lost purse and nap sack which were snatched because of lack of attention. As you said accommodation is a very big issue and I prefer to stay in a hostel or homestay as they are safer than budget hotels. Thanks a lot
