Hi Kristal… I commented in your previous videos and I’m really seeking your help. You haven’t done the video yet and I am not sure which courses to take on Sophia. I’m currently enrolled for bachelor’s degree in human sciences. I look forward to hearing from you
Hello Kristal, 1. When do you become a degree-seeking student at UoPeople, is it just after UNIV1001, or after how many other courses? 2. When were you able to do your first degree audit report? Thank you!
@@I_am_kris______ Okay, thank you for the info. I transferred in the Principles of Business Management foundation course, so I wasn't sure when I actually become degree-seeking student. I was only able to register for 2 courses maximum next term. My advisor said that's because I'm a foundation student and I have no GPA yet. I would like to progress faster but unfortunately theres no way to. Questions: 1. From your other video, are you sure that your UNIV1001 and Prin of Bus Man wasn't counted towards your final GPA? 2. Or is it only used to get your initial GPA to become degree-seeking?
1. Yup it shows as transfer credit on my transcript and it didn't affect my CGPA 2 . you still need to pass them to become a degree seeking student.. so aim for 2.0 gpa or more.
They sure do! But just ensure you choose college courses. Not all Saylor courses are college credits. See video ruclips.net/video/ACIlbjuguOM/видео.html
Yes they usually pick your course for the first term. But after that you would choose your courses.. You can reach out to your assigned advisor to get the status of them adding the course..
I read from sophia email that Up to 20 Sophia courses can be transferred to UoPeople at no cost. For additional courses, you will then pay $17 per approved course to transfer the credits to UoPeople. So i wanted to know if that is possible via credly transcribted credits or i have to pay first for the official transcript
I didnt pay for my transcript, I used credly for free.. 20 courses free to transfer? That is great. When i did them i had to pay lol.. but i guess because they are partners now..
Hi Kristal ,I have some questions about Sophia I'm learning computer science at UoPeople I would like to done more quickly with my degree which courses in my degree I can take on Sophia to done quickly?
