Why don't they use a 1 or 2 meter long take off area which will eliminate almost all fouls and all jumps will be with maximum effort with the athletes not having to worry about stepping over the line? Replays will show where the take off foot was on the take off area which will have centimeter lines. This will ensure that the longest jumper will always win. Shouldn't that be the goal?! We have the technology. Do it!!!

I mean, Phil SHINNICK broke the world record for long jump in 1963, but because he was just a college kid and they weren’t expecting him to break any records they didn’t take a wind reading so he was denied that world record until IAAF aka World Athletics retroactively gave him the title in 2021!!! But I’m glad they finally did! New name and new look, maybe new changes!
