I'm happy to see another person who has enjoyed The Hexologists! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series too! Bancroft laid the groundwork for such a rich world and magic system and I can't wait to explore more of it.
I loved Emily Wilde, Emily and Wendell are just so funny together!! Also enjoyed Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone. So many others here on my too-large TBR! 😆
I had similar feelings about In the Lives of Puppets! I LOVED the first like 150 pages with all of the banter and the precious lil baby bean that is Rambo, but I felt like the romance didn't do much for me. I felt like there was so much potential with their dynamic but they didn't have much chemistry for me!

Agreed. I started losing interest as the book progressed.
