What was your favorite part? Let me know below!
The custom mad gitar rug by the front door from1963 I was stunned to see it !
everything !
The outside pre jungle room / pre carport picture. It's probably the best look that I've ever seen of it.
nice... but should have been left the same as when he died in 77, not re-painted or changed.
The pool area. Still an impressive area to me.
One thing that I have learned is that Elvis was a wonderful person who was truly nice to all people. Thanks for bringing his memory back to life.
This was nice. Thank you!
My favorite part was the new photos in his parent's bedroom, never seen those before, great job.
Mine too! Thanks for tuning in!
A poem called 'Ode to a Robin' that Elvis found funny, the appearance of a rug in the film set of a Priscilla movie, changes in the dining room, a previously locked closet with dog leashes, the relocation of fur pillows to the basement billiard room, a miniature pool table-shaped jewelry box given by Elvis to his cousin Billy Smith, and a tour of the roof's sundeck area. WOW.
A lot of favorites! Thanks for tuning in!
love your sarcasm...
there are aliens in the oceans, David grusch told congress .. look into that @@garywoolnough1531
Thank you Ashley, that was fascinating!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
Thank you so much for this. I have only visited Graceland once in 2005, but it is definitely on my bucket list for a revisit, especially now as the complex is so different from when I visited from the U.K. - I stayed at Heartbreak Hotel, so I need to stay at the new hotel. When Priscilla was in the U.K. in April, I did a meet & greet with her before her “Evening with Priscilla Presley” and she asked me if I’d ever been to Graceland. I asked her when is the best time to visit & she told me Christmas - so that is what I’m hoping (not this year, but maybe 2024). I love your videos & look forward to when I get notifications that you’ve posted a new one. x
Aww thanks so much! I hope you have a blast ❤️
Ashley thank you for what you do.
Thank you for your support!
Ashley I would like to submit to you a little analysis that I made a few years ago Without going into details and the count here, would be too long ( , but meticulously taking stock is worth it ) / Beloved ELVIS after having had a lot of housing in Memphis, bought Graceland // Between his years spent in Germany, his years spent touring throughout the USA, his Hollywood years, his Los Angeles years, his Las Vegas years, his unfortunate stays in hospitals ELVIS did not spend many years in his beloved home that he had bought for his parents and especially for his dear Mom / Even if he came back assiduously to stay with the family he did not take with him on his travels! Sincerely, an admirer who has had ELVIS in her heart since 1956!
So much detail in this video Ashley! I love seeing up close and personal photos of Graceland and the things in Graceland. The poem is so funny and sounds like something Elvis would have found funny since he had such a great sense of humor. I really loved seeing the back of the bird room door with the leashes. Looks like any house with pets. LOL What I love about Graceland is even though it is a mansion, it feels like a home. Lived in and loved. Loved the rug too, very cool looking with Elvis' initials and a guitar on it. Thanks for those for sharing there photos and for those who point out things we miss and to you Ashley for pulling it all together for us and making it all make sense!
Thank you Brenda, I'm glad you liked this one! I agree, Graceland feels more homey than I expected. Thank you for the sweet comment ❤️ take care!
Your attention to detail is simply amazing. Thanks for this interesting and informative video. Kudos, once again!

I gotta admit, Ashley! You did it again! Knocked it outta the park ⚾👏👏👏👏🏆🌹🌹🌹🌹
You had me laughing in the beginning with your creative intro- the addition of that music piece as you read Elvis's "Ode To A Robin"- very creative!
As for my favorite part... I think it's how you put everything together so seamlessly. Well done!

Wow, thank you! Each day little by little. Take care, Nancy
I agree with the compliment about your voice. Your looks are perfect Graceland should hire you and use your talent in some capacity. Thanks for your wonderful work. Elvis would be very proud of you!!!
@@hollysuchey6037 Ashley is amazing and her voice is perfect all the time also consistent. I bet she would be the best tour guide ever. She works hard at giving us true Elvis stories. You are the best Ashley
That's very kind, thank you Holly
Your videos are Wonderful !!! Thank u
Thank you Louie!
Love learning
all the history of Graceland. ❤
Thanks for watching! ❤
Great video and your keen eye sees all as always. I love the "Ode to a robin" not listened to that in years, once I complete this comment I am off to listen and hear Elvis and everyone laugh so much when he tells it. Interesting that originally on the tour the drapes were covering the stain glass peacocks, maybe someone wanted to cover up the creation Linda and Elvis put together when they were a couple. It would be good if occasionally they changed up the tour with some other furnishings and drapes from other eras, maybe fans would love to see it back to the way Elvis last saw it. Thanks so much Ashley and keep the videos coming.
That would be cool. Thanks for watching!
Love the whole tour. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks so much Lisa!
Always love your videos! Thank you and God bless!
Thank you! Take care, Nooner
Another winner video Ashley. I never lose my attention span with your incredible information and knowledge!❤💯

Thank you Mark, I'm glad you liked this one!
great video ! , the images are so clear also , i remember my grandparents have the same ish dog leashes/ collars and some had i think rhinestones on them , they looked cool , when i first heard that poem i was shocked lol , seeing the objects like the pool table ect and stuff like that is great !! really interesting
Thank you Paul!

Hi Ashley, Excellent video report. I liked all of it the pink sink and the tiling was a standout moment I've never seen pictures of it before. Take Care
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Once again, you gave me a tidbit I never knew and this time it's the Bird Room. I always think about what's behind the curtains and tapestrys at Graceland because there's so many doors, windows, closets and corridors hidden underneath. Thank you
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Thank you for the heart,
Anytime!
Fantastic information Ashley thank you so much always look forward to your video's ❤
thank you Susan! So happy you enjoy them ❤
Outstanding work on this detailed video!
Thank you Tiki!!
Great video ashley loved it. TCB. ❤
Thank you!!
Great video as always Ashley, Thank you.
Thanks for watching 91!
I think that the reason the peacocks were initially covered when Graceland first opened had more to do with Priscilla's jealousy of Linda Thompson than honouring Gladys. She changed everything Linda and Elvis did when they remodelled. The red look was the way it was when Elvis passed. It should have stayed that way so fans could see how it was when he was last there. That may have been why Lisa was so insistant in the upstairs staying the same. Reminded her of when he was alive.
That's not true, other rooms Linda remodeled like the jungle room, kitchen, TCB den, pool table room etc were not changed. Only the front rooms. Its really common to change house museums to their "peak" era
Thanks for watching!
I think all the red furniture and rugs, carpet were introduced to GRACELAND by Linda, it’s no wonder Elvis always stayed up in his room. I can’t imagine that he liked Victorian furniture in a solid red house inside. No, it should’ve been refurbished to the way it was all those years he lived there prior to Linda! Linda made it look like a bardot
I believe Elvis had the peacocks put in a few years prior to his death. They weren’t there when he bought the house or Gladys lived there.
@@sasunshine5866...Linda followed elvis' wishes re the red shag black leather etc...
@@ashleysadventures did a bit of reserch and you're right, they tried to get it as close to when it was originally purchased.
Thanks for posting..❤👑
Thanks for watching!!
Love this, when you show us how the layout is. Priscilla did a video one time and she showed that closet with the dogs leashes hanging on the door, you can a teeny glimpse into part of it. Can’t remember what video it was on though. Loved the rug part, and maybe Angie can give some details on it !
Glad you liked that part! Thanks for tuning in
, you gave us so interesting things about Graceland so nice thank you for all your Sharing
❤💯👌🤗🌹greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 Vienna ❤️ so far away😢
Thanks so much!
That was a nice vid! Thanks Ashley!!!
Thanks for watching!
Interesting. I think I prefer the pool building in the before images, prior to the updated look.
I agree! Thanks for watching
Just to say, I am sure, that as long as the world lasts, we will venerate Beloved ELVIS / Sleep in peace with your cherish family, You are the most beautiful jewel of the XX th and XXI century,
Thanks for watching!
I heard that poem when I was 12. My stepdad told it to me . I did not know it came from Elvis.
Thanks for watching! Elvis didn't write it
Bro that beginning is brutal
😇
thank u for this video
Thanks for watching!
i remember washroom sinks of that style. In fact i took one out of a closed up US airbase from the 1940s here in the UK to fit into my home. To get the taps to come free was a lot of effort in fact i broke the first sink i took going back later for a second
Thanks for watching!

Yes! 🐩
another great video friend from us both your friends from suffolk paul.alissa martin xx
Thank you Martins! ⚡️
we had the same tile growing up
Thanks for watching!
Ashley enjoyed another side of Graceland that i haven't seen also i have a audio cassette tape of that poem i got it from a Elvis fan from New York
Thanks for watching!
The poem was from his Army days. It is a ditty taught to the soldiers while marching. Thought this might help.
Thanks for that!
Your welcome. I didn’t know it, but quoted to my hubby, and he was able to finish before I could finish. 😳
Lol! 🐦⬛
The last lines of the poem at the beginning of the video is part of an Army cadence that is still sang today while marching.
Interesting! Thanks for watching
Super vidéo, merci
Merci!!
Your posts are always very interesting. I have the identical chairs as in the photo of the trophy room and what it looked like when Elvis was alive! The white chairs you see in the photo are exactly what I have. Now I wonder because I bought the 4 chairs and glass top table years ago in a flea market and use them in my dining room. Do you have any further information on the chairs and table?
Thanks Linda! No, I don't know about the furniture
Hi - it's good to see the items as they used to be, for the most part. QUESTION: did you do a video that in part mentioned a samurai sword, or a sword of some sort. I saw something somewhere awhile ago but cannot recall. Thx so much.
Hi Carol, I think I have but can't remember which video it was. Angie interviews Dick Grob about it in a Gates of Graceland episode
Thanks for watching!
Excellent Video !! Question there is a video of Priscillas 21st birthday being held in what is the jungle Room, it show her coming down the stairs that lead to the rooftop . I wonder if they always led there?? Or was priscilla actually coming down the stairs to her party from that deck / rooftop ?
Hi, they're actually coming down the couple steps into the jungle room. Its next to the sundeck staircase but they're coming from the direction of the kitchen. Thanks for watching!
I prefer the beige with the dark brown trim in the back of the house than the all white
I think I do, too. Thanks for watching!
Hello 👋 there 😊 Ashley
Hi! thanks for watching
The poem I'm sure Elvis got it from the army. When I was in boot camp. The Sargent would sing this as we ran. We would run in step. The whole battalion. We called it cadence. He would sing and we would repeat. Our version was. A yellow bird with a yellow bill sat upon my window sill. I lured him with crumbs of bread. Then I smashed his yellow head. There were many more cadence. 82 second patch on my shoulder, if I die on the Russian front. I can still sing them word for word .even though it was 37 years ago for me. To make this out to be a simple poem that Elvis liked I think is wrong. We didn't get to pick what was sung. We just had to repeat it. My experience with was shocking and funny at the same time. I'm sure he felt the same way. This was not a poem. To be recited at a poem recited at a poetry contest.
Thanks for watching!
Great work as always! That rug probably still exists - if it's not in the archives it's possible Elvis gave it to someone and either they or a private colletor have it. Whoever made that copy/prop might have been able to examine the real thing, but I'm not sure EPE would let them have access since we know they didn't allow the use of any Elvis recordings in the film.
Thanks for watching!
Very nice house. Lots of property. Lots of expensive things. Have to say I was disappointed because they called this a mansion. Next to the mansions around Detroit; I'd call Graceland a mini-mansuon.
thanks for watching
I LIKE THE BATHROOM OF ELVIS S PARENTS ROOM
Isn't it cool? If you're interested, here's my video on just that room: ruclips.net/video/IbDjOvHcnwA/видео.html
Thanks
Muito bommmmm.
Por uma acaso você sabe onde está o cinturão de ouro de Elvis e o anel que ele usou no show do Havai?
Thank you! Sorry, I don't know about that
Wasnt that picture of Priscilla and lisa one time in entry way. I think it signed too
Before the museum, it once hung in the foyer hall. Thanks for watching!
I find it interesting that the toilet paper roll in the purple bathroom is nearly empty in this video, but in the linked video that is just about the bathroom, the toilet paper roll is full. Who has been using this bathroom?! 😮
Lol! Great point. And thanks for tuning into my videos!
The ELVIS PRESLEY ESTATE & RILEY will not let priscilla to use ELVIS SONGS and some other things not to mansion that when they got divorce ELVIS TOLD HER THAT SHE COULD NOT KEEP THE PRESLEY NAME but after ELVIS passed away she had her last name change back to PRESLEY
The movie is Sofia Coppola's - not Priscilla's. Not true. Priscilla was always allowed to use the Presley name and did so very publicly after their divorce. Thanks for watching!

I have a odd question. Why is there an; Air Wick Plug in air freshener, laying in there at 3:57 when you are talking about the bathroom? Those kind wasn't even invented back then. Who else used it in more recent times, after her?
They keep it fresh. Thanks for watching!
It was a gift from Sandy a gate girl and a few of her friends
Really! Thanks for the info!
So those stairs go nowhere? I always thought Elvis used them to go up to his bedroom
Only to the sundeck. Thanks for watching!
Just an aside, just because Priscilla Beaulieu says it, doesn't mean it's true. For example, her claim that the picture of her and Lisa were a favorite of Elvis'. She placed that framed picture to promote herself.
Otherwise, well done on the rest.
Thanks for watching!
