It's a new era and power rules the day again. The courts were slowed down in the early 2000s to stop serve and volley, and since then defensive baseline play has ruled; now we have a new generation with the talent and fitness to turn those baseline rallies into all-court showstoppers and it's fantastic. Nadal was 15-7 before 2011, when Djokovic....
      Fixed his serve
      Went on gluten free diet
      Forehand more reliable
Attacked the Nadal FH with his BH (The first player to try that and Nadal was and still can be beaten by that 1 pattern)
Since then its 23-14 for Djokovic including just a 8-11 h2h on clay with 2 of them being RG wins.
If Djokovic had been how he was post 2011 his whole career he may have had 25+ majors with much more RG titles.

The amazing thing is he does all these incredible moves without showing signs of any physical effort or unease. You can't compare any other player to him.
