The courts were slowed down in the early 2000s to stop serve and volley, and since then defensive baseline play has ruled; now we have a new generation with the talent and fitness to turn those baseline rallies into all-court showstoppers and it's fantastic. I'm so excited to see where tennis goes from here

I'd say Djokovic still reigns supreme but he's not far away. Needs to close out matches better, that could be due to taking too much risk with shots at times. Definitely one for the future the way he's currently playing. Seems to be the fittest on tour and very heavy ball striking too

Yeah, Becker was insanely talented but somehow stopped improving after 17. Alcaraz will not make that mistake, his work ethic is on another level.
