Tonyon is the same one that made my smiley keyway chain lock. False gates are always good. The more you decide the harder it gets I find. Though sometimes it might also get easier from wearimg the teeth when pulling it to decide 😎
I bought a similar product like that with the brand Dunlop which they claim to be from the Netherlands. I stuck a magnet on the locking mechanism and it doesn't stick. It's either an aluminum alloy or a zinc alloy. I think it's a zinc alloy. I think if you torque it strong enough, it will break at the lock mechanism. The weak link in the chain is the lock mechanism.
How hard to I pull while turning? What do you mean "when it's true it feels loose" as in, easily rotateable or is there more friction on the complete wheel.. I've watched it 10 times and I just don't get it. I stored up my motorcycle for a few years. And I cannot remember the combination of the lock. 😭 Thank you
how u found answer to ur question yet, i also don't get it. My lock is also 5 combination lock and it's like stuck in midway of unlocking it, and it wouldn't go back in nor just go all the way out. Idk wat to do at this point...
@@minlegbatkhishig4581 yes I have. After 2 hours. However he describes it, is true. The most 2 right numbers were easy to find. 2 left ones a little more difficult. It's hard to explain how it feels like when you have the right one. But you can sure tell which ones are the wrong ones. Once you know the wrong ones. It's easier
⚠️⚠️⚠️ EDIT: I just got it open. The newer models have a “wiggle and pull deception”, means that if you pull it too much down or up or you pull too strong, it’s falsifying the feedback you get. It helped me to listen and observe if the right part that is the pin, moves if I put in the correct number. I put on some pressure by pulling the right part away. So my first number was a 0 and I could hear and see how the right part moved out a tiny bit. It was really a millimetre BUT compared to all other numbers it did feel like it “went out” a bit and was much more loose. Then I kept pulling and did all other numbers. Once I had the 5th, 4th and 3rd wheel the rest was trial and error. I put in 0 on the 2nd wheel and turned the 1st wheel through all combination. Then I put the 2nd wheel on 1 and went through all the numbers 0-9 on wheel 1. Then I put wheel 2 on number 3, then moved wheel 1 through all numbers 0-9, then wheel 2 on number 4 and wheel 1 through all numbers 0-9 and so on until it suddenly clicked and it opened up!! OR ⚠️⚠️⚠️ another possibility is to identify the false gates. The false gates are always in between two numbers. As explained in the video, the wheel will turn by itself to the next number. Let’s say there’s a false gate in between the numbers 2 and 3. There’s a real gate at a 90° either left or right from it. Means that if your gate it in between 2 and 3 your correct number on that wheel is either 0 or 5. Always 2 numbers lower than the lowest number (here 2) and always 2 higher than the highest number (here 3). If your false gate is in between let’s say 7 and 8 then your correct number on that wheel is either 5 or 0. If your false gate is on for example 0 and 1, then your correct numbers on that wheel are either 8 or 3. Then just go observe and listen as mentioned above or do the technique mentioned in the video on two of the correct numbers on each wheel. Good luck!!!! 🥳🥳🥳
If the lock is open (in unlock state) look thru the hole and rotate the wheels, you will see cut outs. Do the same thing for all 5 wiles (1:00) P.S. I'm big Firefly fun 😁

Hi, I am trying to decode a 5 digit bike lock, but it is proving to be quite difficult (I have decoded several other 4 and 5 digit locks). This one has 4 black number wheels (black with white numbers) and one yellowish/orange number wheel (on the far right hand side) with black numerals. I can use the normal "binding" approach and feel the gate on each wheel, but it seems as if the yellowish/orange wheel has some other role in opening the lock. The lock has no brand or model number visible on it or the cable - it was purchases about 4 years ago in Hong Kong. Has anyone seen a similar type of 5 digit lock or have any insight in to the role of the 5th wheel ? Thanks ! Bryan

Within 15 minutes of opening this package my daughter tried to change the combination and the lock was locked without a known code. Based on this video I’m not sure wha my true gate and false gate means

My Tonyon 5 digit just doesn't seem to display the same behavior when I revolve the tumblers. I can detect no clues as you have shown in the video.

Hi, I am trying to decode a 5 digit bike lock, but it is proving to be quite difficult (I have decoded several other 4 and 5 digit locks). This one has 4 black number wheels (black with white numbers) and one yellowish/orange number wheel (on the far right hand side) with black numerals.
