This was beautiful artwork...I'm on palliative care but palliative care is also for anyone who needs help controlling their pain and not only dying just incase anyone is feeling afraid of palliative care thank you Helen
@@deborahmeyers551 thank you for sharing that Deborah! You’re right - “living with, not dying of….” I hope I explained it well enough ♥️ I’ve pinned this comment to the top so that people can see it clearly.
@helencousinsbotanics thank you Helen you explained it perfectly well thanks for all you do for patients. I've been fighting cancer for years and feel lucky to be here also the job you do know palliative care is incredibly awsome and you have studied hard for it and it's an achievement that really not just empowers you but to have you on our side is fantastic thanks for pinning my comment ❤️
Just what I needed today. I’m glad you are finding a way to feed both of your incredible talents. There’s so much need for both of these loves of yours. I say that after experiencing palliative and hospice care for my Mom and now entering into it with my husband. And yes this video is a gift of relaxation and an encouragement to explore what fills us at the same time. 💕
I’m really looking forward to seeing more of your work and being inspired by you. I’ve been following you and congratulate you on taking some time for a while to follow your artistic side. I’ve recently retired and waited many years to take time for myself to find what I love to do and I’m so glad I found it in watercolour. I look forward to your upcoming videos. Merry Christmas from Toronto Canada.
Thank you so much. This was a lovely comment to receive! I'm so glad that you've found joy in watercolour and I can only hope that I can continue to inspire you on your painting journey. Merry Christmas to you, too.
Thank you for your comment Shirley. That's good to know! I'm thinking about taking Skye on a little winter trip in January, maybe to Scotland to find some snow! So that'd be fun, and I'll definitely film it if I do!
Love your art and wish you peace and creativity these next few months. I would love to see more flowers and perhaps some verbal instruction to go along with the painting. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see you paint.
Helen, what a beautiful video! I enjoy watching you paint and hearing of your adventures! Life is too short not to follow your dreams! Wishing you all the Best in whatever direction life takes you!
Happy to see you again dear 😊 Your life and you decisions are precious and I hope everything goes well for you. Paint your life with your best colours. All the best from Italy 🤗
Lovely relaxing video to watch on this rather wet dreary sun :) I always try watch something inspiring before I get down to paint or sketchbook etc. Today is practicing some graphite drawing of pears as Im trying to improve my more realistic painting/drawing. Also lovely to hear of your journey and new adventures - very exciting. Yaayyy painting on your travels to Skye/Scotland/anywhere would be lovely and your inspirations eg the nature around where you are (i live in a very dense/urban area of surburban london atm so anything 'green' lolz is amazing) . PS. on a side note, an advert pops up right in the middle (notthing to do with you obviously but me as I dont have YT subscription). Im not sure if having your own platform one day might be in the works or through Patreon etc - Id prefer any monies I pay to go direct to the Content creator if that makes sense:) xx
@@soniainateacup thank you so much for this lovely comment Sonia! 🥹♥️💫I hope your graphite pears went well! Love your work Helen and glad you are taking a break. Love to see any tutorials that you do. Enjoy Scotland, it’s a beautiful place and keep safe. All the best from Australia.
Beautiful! I love your posts from Skye and your painting and hope you do many more! When I want some inspiration and need to unplug and unwind I look to your channel. Thank you for sharing your journey, it’s helped me in so many ways.
I would really like to see seasonal flower tutorials as I really love your detailed work. As a beginner I realise that it is more challenging than loose painting but that is part of the fun of learning. I have tried the Iris bud as a start. Thank you.
Lovely to see you back! I’ve watched your Skye adventure/painting videos more than once - they’re soothing and inspiring. I’m sure I’m not alone in that I would be thrilled to see more. :)
