Ken is the brake man. Known and worked with him professionally for 20+ years. We trust our lives with him on all our race cars brakes. Do what he tells you.
@@NsXy the guide isn’t meant for people who don’t know their way around vehicle maintenance. If your level is such that you don’t know to put the pin in then you shouldn’t be attempting this work.
Great video! Wouldn't happen to be able to do a video on replacing the rotors would you? Recently bought some R1 drilled and slotted rotors for mine I'd like to install. Thanks

He didn’t even put the pins back in all the way possibly endangering someone’s life. The front right one

Wow just found you guys...I've ordered stuff from you guys in the past a lot. Cool to see you on YT!
What are the name of the brake pads you used for the toyota supra?
Would you mind sharing the rear caliper bolt torque?
26 ft/lb torque.

I'd be curious to hear how you like the R1 rotors and pads
You didn’t put the pins all the way back in on the front right
What that was so easy to do thanks for this video great for track days
We need to see more of these cars on track!
I'm late to the party but track my mkv weekly! It's an amazing toy!
Did this car have an electronic handbrake and did you have to put it into maintenance mode first with software?
Thanks for the video.
Is there not a brake service mode you have to put the car in?
Only if the brake sensors are crushed then you just replace and reset
How do you disengage the rear electronic parking brakes?
Thank you for posting this, I assumed that the front pad holders were a "press fit", but this was the easiest confirmation.
Great video thanks 👍
How did you disengage the rear parking brake?
Prior to turning car off right?
@@knsbrakes608 yes
Where can I buy them?
Trying hard - spread thin. Will be back on this thing next week after Florida
How do you disengage the parking brakes?
You press the button inside the car.
I tought mk5 supras don't have wheel studs
They don't. This car has a stud conversion kit which is very common at this point.
Shameless CSG plug on them read brake pads!
Does the rear brake pad have a pin so the piston goes in correctly
