Thank you for sharing the secret sauce behind The Ghoulie and what it takes to get these axles to work with a standard 4wd drivertrain! This is great content!

Knowledge is power! Love the portals, but didn't know what it took to adapt... I would take those over the aftermarket bolt on portals that are out there... Awsum content.

Awesome video 🤘🏽 super cool watching you rock the lathe and whip those babies up. Can’t wait to see you get rowdy in the fiat @ KOH

You know that was really interesting seeing the amount of work needed to get one of these axles usable in another rig. Not too many of us know someone or can afford the machine work needed to run these. I hope you get some views on this so people can see what it takes to get this done you know.

I have both 404 and 411 new style axles (416 but narrower) and i have done pinion conversions on both of them. I had to invent the wheel also because there was second to no information out there. but we seem to have done the exact same way on both sets after all thats cool. Its kind of funny how different they are to anything else out there on the "market". Really heavy beasts right there good job!

Cool vid! The pinion on the mogs is ridiculously long and can also be shortened with some love. I am building a set of Volvo TGB portals, nice and short pinions.

Hey bud, enjoyed the video…. Killer shop killer tools and upgrades👍🏽… I got a couple questions…
    1. What is the purpose of welding, one side of the locker wishbone lever?
    2. I recently learned that the spring in the locker also functions as an emergency release, when under to much bind to prevent braking…which happened to me both times after braking my portal gears…

The other benefit to the cable locker lever setup and the main reason I did it, is that you know with 100% confidence that the locker is engaged vs with air, you may press the button to lock the diff but the air actuator hasn't yet locked the diff due to the locker collar shape. So before I hammer down on an obstacle, i know i'm good to go.

So evidently the spring didn’t help me to avoid blowing up the collar gear…🤷🏼‍♂️…my question is will removing the spring possibly cause more problems…my logic says no BUT I’ve had a locked cable system that won’t allow it to move in any case which is why I feel my collar gear broke both times…rather than unlock like the factory system under a overload…

So if a guy was an idiot and sold his beloved P- wagon Tacoma, and happened to run into a set of these… what’s the damage to have you machine them like this for a new build?

Depending on how much i would need to machine. If you get parts set up hit me up and let me see what you have. Anywhere from 500-1500 ballpark
