One of the main things I noticed in your demonstration, besides the clear/obvious, is how a piece would hang depending on which direction on chooses to go. Hi Jill, what if I wanted to make a necklace using this same pattern! Do I go ahead with the crystal and the 3 seed beads for the top and then for the part around the neck ..... I am stuck! Please help
When doing a horizontal netting. If you add enough beads in the first row for the length of your bracelet, when you net it or do the second row, will the bracelet be shorter?
If I sent you a picture of a netted bracelet would you tell me how to make it. I'm sure you'll know how they did it. I bought it at a boutique and it broke. I would like to duplicate it.
I'm more confused now! I was hoping you would show 2 samples - one vertical and one horizontal. Still don't know the diff because you took your sample and turned it in the other direction!
In horizontal netting, your first row will be the entire length of the bracelet. So you would pick up enough beads to fit around your wrist. You'd then turn around and bead the next row all the way down the first row and then turn around again and so on until you have the desired width of the bracelet. The cross-over bead's hole will in this way be horizontal. I hope that helps.
