Hi christin, i am from syria. unfortunatly cuz of the war I and my family ended up in germany. It has been pretty hard for me to make new friends here because of the language and I think because of the social anxiety that I have. and unfortunatly my own people " syrians " interrupted our reputation so bad because of their toxic behavior. I am glad that you hear about me :) thanks to you for teaching people the language. You are just a wonderful woman who is willing to spread knowledge and making it clear for us. you spent many hours making those videos and nobody was thanking you from the bottom of his heart but I do! I am not sure if you are religious but I will pray my god "Allah" to make your life easier and enjoyable
Do people merge the schwa at the end of "to" and the beggining of "another"? So it ends up sounding like "tonother", or is it just me and they actually say tuh uhnuhther? Thank you.
Hi, yes, we merge them together because it would break our fluency if we had to say "tuh uhnother." We also sometimes use "to another" with a clear /u/ on "to" since doing the 2 schwa sounds in a row makes the phrase less clear.
for “ another” ,although the schwa /ə/ and /n/ are separated by the stressed mark /‘/ , but I hear that you link them to be /ən/, so subtle, am I right?
Hi, yes, I would say use other words with "uh" to help you. For example, try "some other, none other, one other" and try to make the vowels in the 2 words. Or if you can say "another," you can break that down to "other" by saying "another, a nother, nother, other" and keep your "uh" vowel the same the whole way through. Here's more help for the "uh" vowel in "other" ruclips.net/video/RsumYs0z6RY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/RQ1d4zQ9GCY/видео.html ruclips.net/user/liveeqrysthrnzk?feature=share

@@SpeechModification Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

We generally don't break between syllables, so yes, the ə connects to the n, you're hearing it correctly.
I’m struggling with the word other. Can you help me to say it? I’m struggling with uh sound.
