I really want these! Need to save up for 5 years though
They have a new line on preorder called Slade. They’ll be about $200 when full priced
Lol I remember asking you about these a while back, you told me wait I'm working on it! They sure look like a great quality setup, nice video man
Thank you for such a great review video! I’ve always been a fan of rollerskating but I’ve been wanting something recently that will allow me to easily get around small distances in San Francisco that beats having my skates in the trunk. I think I’ll tray myself to a pair of these for my birthday next year 🙌🏾
Learned about these when they started their first Kickstarter; such a cool concept they really inspired me to get into learning to skate
great review Ricardo!
more people need to know about these. I wouldn't mind more videos just you skating them to different places in the city.
OMG😲 i can see the camera stick only by the shadow of it.confusing 😬😬
Someday when I'm a good enough skater I will have some Flaneurz. I like the Nike AF1's.
I have the Roll Line Blaster plate on my derby skates and love them, they’re a great plate.
I like that you said that the shoes don't offer a really good support, I'm french and I heard of this brand but my concern is that the shoes might not be suportive enough for skating, I fear the risk of injury and for near $500 I don't know is this is worth the risk
They have the new slades by flaneurz now !
Hopefully these take off in a big way then the price might come down not saying they aren't worth it but they're a little steep for me but I could well see myself having some allstar hi tops for now I'll stick to the roces copies and carry some spare shoes haha
Look up Slade. It’s a new line by flaneurz that’s about $200
wow...really nice skate man 👍👍👍
In theory, this could work with inline frame...
Yeah maybe for people who know how to skate with low boots
@@allanguignard4204 Yeah, never tried those low speed skating boots, but they somehow manage to ride them on 3x125 or 4x100 setups...
In theory, you could also break both ankles trying inline plates on doc martens.
9:37 I never had Xsjados and at this point that will probably not change anymore, but the Xsjado footwraps still were low-cut shoes. For me, they looked like normal sneakers. Especially when the footwrap is only a sneaker, I'm pretty sure the whole support comes only from the plastic cuff and I don't really think this changed that much with the new Shadows.
But I really don't understand why USD only offers high-cut footwraps for the Shadow. It's a really good idea as an additional option for the winter, but I think people tend to go skating a lot more in the summer. Do they really think those shows are a valid option to walk around in during the summer? If you have to change shoes anyway because the footwrap is a shoe for the winter, the whole concept doesn't make any sense anymore.
Ricardo do you have a review of rioroller mayhem v2?
Hi Can you do a video about aggresive skate for kids ?
someday I will be rich enough to buy these XD
you could buy a house with that much money in Brazil. (that's a joke lol)
570 euros + shipping to Brazil (probably at least 100 Euro) then + 60% customs tax = 1070 euros aproximately.
around 7k BRL. this is 6 months worth of my rent LOL
a USD Aeon here cost right now = 2700BRL which is around 550USD
Finding a pair of Aeons in a size that's not like a size 5 would be a miracle right now, in norway they're expensive yes but there are literally no skates in stock anywhere :/
@@iggywow thats why we have some in stock around here hehehehehe
nobody can afford them.
the minimum wage here is around 200USD per MONTH.
They’re doing a preorder on a new line called Slade. The skate will be about $200 full price
Flaunerz offers free worldwide shipping :D (or at least that's what the website says, I've never bought any) and the cheapest "ready to roll" Flaunerz is 370 Euros, which is still a lot, but less than 570. Also, 60% tax? Damn. That's ridiculous (not saying it isn't real, I don't know what it is. It's just ridiculously high).
I’ve been building custom skates for 4 years now, and I’ve built skates out of all kinds of shoes. The thing is, there’s a reason skate boots are different than shoes. Walk around a day in skate boots. They aren’t meant for walking. Inversely, walking shoes aren’t meant for skating.
Without the right support, you end up putting energy into the soft sole, and bending out the side of the shoe. So you’re working harder, and putting more pressure on your knees. To make up for that, you need lot loosen up your trucks and/or using softer cushions so I would only recommend these to advanced skaters.
I want some but cant find any boots that would work. And i dont like the one pair they offer
They have a custom offer so that you can send in a shoe of your choice
@@yasminsalih9168 i know about that. But the shoes i like cant be made into the skates
@@ertfgghhhh how did you find out. I'm still trying to find out what the specifications allowed are.
@@yasminsalih9168 sorry. Never got your message. Emailed them directly
Caralho, que foda! Essa empresa envia aqui para Portugal? Fiquei amarradão haha
Wow super cool
You nailed it! The flaneurz is great for going to work, I use them in and outside the office. They are super fun!!
Woww amazing
Hey:) what is the music in the beginning of the video?
I was never more scared to death then at 1:04
Love from india
I love your videos 😍
Hello Ricardo, can you plz make a video where you compare roller and inline skates. Thank u!
He's kinda done one before: ruclips.net/video/0ldGRB-CPlk/видео.html
They're so very different, I don't think quads and inlines share very much in common besides wheels on feet.
Absolutly amazing :o
Vens a setubal e não dizes nada...
Brutal !!!!!! 👌😍😍😍😍😍
That stride tho.
Do they make these for inline wheels?
They dont. And explain why on their FAQ page
They really are hideously expensive though. I mean, we're talking over 100 Euros more than Maxxum Edge 3x125s.
Sorry, I love your show, Lino, but had to give a thumbs down on this. The only type of shoe that I’ve found to be sturdy enough to be made into a skate are cleats. Without the support, a regular shoe puts extra pressure on your knees.
Oh, Interesting take. Cleats as in footballer/runner's shoes? I read "clogs" at first. lol
@@RollsRight8 soccer cleats, baseball, haven’t tried football cleats. Of course, you have to cut some cleats off, and level the plate area. They have to have the support in the side panels, but most I’ve seen, do.
@@charliezxi football(international) == soccer
@@RollsRight8 Ah, yes good point.
Could you explain this (knee pressure) further? I've seen quite a few amazing skaters in Vans and Blazers and I want to get a pair of Flanuerz in some midtop sneakers myself.
