    Live in the Uk, I finally got myself an M37S 2013MY in malbec (sic) black. Stood next to all the latest (2018+) BMWs, Audi and Jags in my staff car park, this car is simply MAGNIFICENT, in a class of its own - bigger. sexIer and classless in all one gleaming package.. Same thing when I go to church, same thing when I take it for a wash (I could see the Tesla S guy even eyeing it). And all without touching the monstrous performance:: you drive up behind any other "powerful" sports car, ( Porshe to Audi RS3 or Golf VR32s especially), people move out of your way, or try to race you, all to a very nice suprise (for them) when the V6 storms into action ; still frightens me and my boys the way the car flies. Dont go with the crowd, or sadly what the press often says, this is one great beast of a car worth all the money, period.

    Make a note of the center console layout. To me pretty well designed in tens of Ergonomics for both driver and front passenger.
    Clean looking center console with basic items. Shifter, cup holder, storage compartment, seat heater/climate and drive mode selector.
    Note the heated/ventilated seat control switches. Rotary dial instead of push button. Ergonomically that means turning the seats to heat or A/C require a thought out deliberate finger movement. You don’t have to worry about passenger or driver randomly turning on.
    Same concept for the Drive Mode Selector and possibly a little more critical to avoid engine/transmission damage. The majority of the controllers are mounted high on the center stack and out of the way.
    Just my observation and I am not even close to a ergonomic designer.
    Also note cup holders are near the back of the console.....advantage....the cup of coffee, soda, water etc... less risk of spilling the fluid into the seat, drive mode and shift selector switches. I didn’t say no risk but greatly reduced.
    Modern design and decent equipment/technology without going way overboard. Design may seem slightly dated for some people but for me modern but slightly conservative. I had the M37 and now the Q70L and enjoy them both.

    • @Sashazur
      @Sashazur 8 месяцев назад

      Only things I don’t like about the controls - the seat heater/cooler buttons are hard to use by feel since you need to count the clicks, and there are just too many buttons for climate, audio, etc. (though they aren’t hard to use).

    I love my Infiniti M37x (2011-2013 was badged M37 and changed to Q70 in 2014-present) and was very sad to hear Infiniti ceased production of the Q70 line after the 2019 model year. This gorgeous car NEVER got it's due and NEVER got a fair shake from the get-go and I blame Infiniti for that boner...I'm convinced that with effective marketing and proper product awareness integration would have sold a lot more of these cars and may have have prevented the halt of its production. Question is...what is Infiniti going to replace this car with? Right now, all they have is the Q50 sedan and Q60 coupe along with their gaggle of upscale, wealthy-soccer-mom SUV's...pretty goddam pathetic when there is no "flagship" sedan to lead the way...

    I always liked the look of these cars and considered getting one in its last production year (2019). I test drove the 3.7 with the standard wheelbase. However, I found the tech way too far behind the times. It wouldn't even recognize my iphone. I also thought it felt like a heavier car and didn't feel agile as I expected an Infiniti sports sedan to feel. Overall I was left with the feeling that I would come to regret the purchase if I went through with it.

      MexicanBagpiper96 it’s a luxury car what’s the point of a manual.............. if it was a Porsche 911 sure manual but it’s not a sports car. It’s a cruiser there would be literary no point.

    • @MexicanBagpiper96
      @MexicanBagpiper96 6 лет назад +1

      BMW ///M What's the point? I've owned a An Acura CL Type-S with a manual transmission and an Infinity G35 Sedan with a six-speed manual. You're talking to the wrong guy. If that's really how you feel about it, then what's the point of those half-ass paddle shifters luxury cars come with. They may be quicker but it's not the same experience. You can jave a luxury car with performance in mind, I've had two. I'm not saying it should only come in manual, I'm saying the option should be available for those of us who like to drive. If you want to have nothing but passengers seats in your car, go for it.

    • @imaprinta
      @imaprinta 6 лет назад +1

      I understand your point that it proobably should offer a manual, but I bet they don't because research shows very view would order one. I had a 740i. Very nice car, very quick, good handling, not sure if it had a manual option, didn't care because I didn't want one. Not why I bought it. That's why I have my 2 seat sports car.

    • @VertigoGTI
      @VertigoGTI 5 лет назад

      For this car, I'd rather see the ZF 8spd in it as opposed to the Jatco 7spd. That ZF box has some really impressive response, especially in the RS7 and Charger ScatPack.
