About Lolitaland many people get upset because of the pepper, and the dark colour it is caused by vanilla. Yo we're lucky enough you got the version with the golden part not silver, it is considered a stronger more long lasting
I dont get any pepper. Lolitaland just smells like orange scented dish soap to me lol
My experience with L de Lolita Lempicka (different fragrance, similar notes) was it went dark and off at a certain point (about a year after purchase) and then when I repurchased it, it was only dark and "off" without the freshness it used to have. I have a feeling that Lolitaland is having the same issues here.
I LOVE Lolitaland, I don't get any pepper either. It smells like a clean peachy vanilla, it's so comforting. I spray it in my hair which I have to wear up at work, but when I get off I let my hair down and this scent is still there after a long day and I instantly go into relaxation mode when I smell it. Love it!

@@Khaleesi_Of_Kittens they are not close at all. I love mix bar ! I have 3 of their fragrances (whipped almond, coconut palm, and vanilla bourbon). However, this one is not a dupe at all. There are some Arab dupes and even Very good girl is a better match.

Some people are turned off by the sour note but I don’t pick it up at all. Nordstrom carries this line if you want to visit your closest store ! Smelling it off the bottle might not be the best. Spray it 2-3 times on you. It projects SO much on me and I always get at least 1 compliment every time I wear it.
For anyone watching this, I bought her bottle of Lolitaland (from this video) off her Mercari and it is AWESOME. It’s the OG formulation and the scent has macerated to perfection. SO good.
Now, THIS is a haul!😃 The way you feel about LolitaLand is how I feel about Delina. 🤭 I got a sample and was SO excited to try it, last year on my birthday, which is Valentine's Day. ❤️ When I sprayed it on, I got that first hit of Litchi and Rhubarb, and it was all over for me. I just couldn't wear it because of my aversion to those notes. I still was able to smell it on my skin for hours afterward and received compliments that night, but the one person whose opinion I cared the most about disliked it greatly. Me! 😭 I'm so sad because so many people love it, but I do hear the same types of reviews as yours...stating that the fragrance is sour and bitter at times, but comes into its own later on with the rose and vanilla. My nose can't smell the sweet notes at all. Maybe I should get a sample of the Exclusif. It would be so nice to be able to enjoy Delina like so many others do. I don't know, though. I'm pretty sure my nose is broken because even with Flowerbomb, I smell nothing sweet at all. Just as it says, I get a bomb of very nice florals. I do like it for Spring, but I wish I could smell the sweetness. Maybe I should visit an ENT doctor. When they ask what my reason for visiting the doctor is, I can say I can't smell the sweetness in so many perfumes. and I'd like to fix that! Lol! Great haul, honey! It's so interesting to me how different people experience different fragrances! I got a sample of Exclusif and it was ok but a bit too powdery for me and it's not really my fav. I use it occasionally but I didn't fall in love with it. I am discovering that I tend to go more towards fresh, sweet, creamy, and gourmand fragrances and sometimes woody/herbal as well. I think it would be a good idea if every fragrance reviewer on RUclips explained before hand what types of fragrances they tend to lean towards so we can keep that in mind when we listen to their reviews! It's all so subjective!

When I first got my bottle of LolitaLand it was before fragrantica changed the picture from pink to amber! I definitely thought my bottle was bad. I’m glad they changed the image to match the actual juice color.
I do really like LolitaLand, not as much as when I first got it, but it’s good. Very gourmand, vanilla cupcakes with orange zest in the icing.
My lolitaland is dark too. The vanilla darkens pretty fast after first spraying it. In the bottle or on paper it’s weird, but when it’s on my skin it is magical!!! It smells like apricot jam to me
Lolitaland had to grow on me and I love sweet. I agree with your description and I’ve found that it layers well with almost everything! If you have a strong oud scent add lolitaland. It pairs well with other gourmands as well. Came back to say my juice in the bottle is just as dark. Deep orange almost blood orange in color.
I love Lolitaland! Mine is like that too. You'll get used to it. I think there's complex notes which may be throwing you off. Don't look into it too much just enjoy it enveloping you in sweetness 🍬
I love flowerbomb nectar instead of the OG. It’s more my style :) Lolita land is gorgeous I bought one that was dark and then another after that was really light coloured but both smelled identical
Flowerbomb Midnight is lovely and performs much better than Flowerbomb.
Lolitaland is supposed to be dark. It has a ton of vanilla. That's just the way it smells. I went thru the same thing, gave it a full wear and my nose was able to understand it a lot better. Reminds me of like a bakery or a diner making pies lol

do you have the 40 ml or 80 ml? because bottles with less juice are lighter in principle. i have the 80 ml and it looks like ksenja's.

You probably might like Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy 😊 It’s the sweetest from the brand and smells like candy we have in Ukraine, which called “scarlet poppy” 😅 So, I suppose that was inspiration behind the perfume

I absolutely love Lolitaland but I had to get used to the scent. it also felt weird and too sharp to me ( i think its the bellini), but when the sharpness wears off, it leaves a lovely sweet scent that everyone compliments me on. as for the color, I think it should look like this
I was just coming to say this!! I also think the bitterness is coming from the Bellini. It could also be a blend of the citrus notes, it has a lot and grapefruit tends to lean a little bitter to me.
I do really like the scent though, it smells like cupcakes to me, like vanilla cupcakes frosted with an orange icing. I’ve had 2 of my 10 year old sons friends either tell me I smell like cupcakes or ask what smells like cupcakes!!! 😂
Hack: but delina body cream for $80 then buy the delina dupe from Julianna’s perfumes for 69$. $150 total. Smells identical.
Cheaper Delina dupe...Glass Rose by MixBar at Target for $20. It's exactly the same fragrance.

Hey, I have the Delina Body Cream and Delina Body Oil that I layer with Very Good Girl from Carolina Herrera ( the red shoe that resembles the scent of Delina ). The perfumer of Delina and Very Good Girl is Quentin Bisch, no wonder that they smell similar ( also Angel Nova from Mugler ). Very Good Girl is cheaper than Delina and it works very well. But the original Delina, is the queen 👸

Hi Ksenja ❤ I wanted to let you know that I just got my Scentbird subscription for the month in the mail today and one of the fragrances I ordered is Catherine Malandrino’s “Dream”.
I sprayed it twice on my wrist and as I’ve been making dinner I can’t stop sniffing my wrist like it smells so damn good. I was worried about the apple and Rhubarb notes to smell too fruity and perhaps juvenile, however, this is a very creamy gourmand-floral fragrance that is not heady. It is so good and very sweet, in a lovely way. Please do a video cause I’m so hyped right now! I saw on Macys they have a really good value set and I have a Macy’s gift card to use. Ok you convinced me 😂 I love to watch your videos it’s like hanging out with a beautiful friend

I Decluttered Lolita exactly because of that undertone! I could not get past it the more I sprayed it the more it confused me lol it’s definitely not what I expected
I bought Lolitaland as a blind buy and I used up 2 bottles. I used it in the summer and it’s like the sweetest peach juice and it’s so delicious and sweet but you just wish sometimes that there was some freshness in it but honestly it’s so good, it’s my sweetest parfume. Mine doesn’t have the color like that but my first bottle was sweeter than the new one and I bought the first as a used bottle. Maybe try a different one.

I received Lolita land last week and I thought I had a bad batch because it was weak, but I think that's just how it is.
I honestly didn’t like Lolitaland when I first got my bottle. I also thought something was…off. I just couldn’t put my finger on what. Lol I’ve had it several months now and I’m really starting to love it. Maybe it sat for a bit and got better somehow? The dry down is soooo nice to me now
I’ve recently became obsessed with Very Good Girl Glam in the pink glitter bottle. Have you smelled that one and if so did you care for it?
I get all my parfum de marly’s for about $140 to $160. So I usually just go for the niche instead of buying a designer around those prices

I highly reccomend you to try brand Jenny Glow. They makes clones/dupes of Jo Malone fragrances, it lasts longer (Its EDP, not EDC like Jo Malones) and Its super cheap. I tried Jenny Glow Wood & Sage and it smells incredibly nice. I can smell myself during the day. Sillage is not great, but it Is fresh scent so I don't mind. When I compared it with original, I was shocked how its... Same 😁❤️ Its maybe more linear (Jo Malone has more musky dry down). So if you like Jo Malone Wood sage & sea salt, I would reccomend this choice 👍😍

My husband hated Delina when we first went to Nordstrom- he doesn’t love strong scents. We went for Oriana. I bought the discovery set and he likes it if I show up wearing it- I think the initial spray is hjust do strong! I am sure it will end up in my collection at some point
Yesss i feel the same way about it. On the skin vs out the bottle are two completely different scents.

I've bought three bottles of Lolitaland at this point. My first bottle had super dark juice exactly like yours, but it hadn't turned. I checked the batch code and it was older--2017. My two newer bottles have much lighter orange-colored juice. Smells essentially the same, but maybe a bit less "rich" than the first batch I bought.

I use to love exclusif but on my skin it goes extremely powdery and grandma on me :( so I stick with delina which is perfect!
Scents pull powdery on my skin too. Exclusif was a hard pass for me. Lol. I roll my eyes at this frag house. It's all grandma powder😅

A few other thoughts:
I haven’t smelled LolitaLand, but the orange creamsicle note you described sounded eerily similar to Juicy Couture Oh So Orange. Has anyone who’s smelled both weigh in and tell me if they’re similar? I ask because I blind purchased Oh So Orange from Ross, and find the creamsicle note slightly nauseating and off-putting. Ironically, I like making my own “homemade” creamsicle scent by mixing I Love Love by Moschino with any vanillic scent, and that doesn’t turn my stomach whatsoever. 🤷🏻♀️
Also, I have Palm Trees Please by Juicy Couture (from the same collection as Oh So Orange), and if you love Turquatic, I highly recommend this! Not an exact dupe, but similar vibes. Turquatic is more perfect, but Palm Trees Please can be found very affordably, and is addictive within its own right. I’m definitely going to mix the Oh So Orange (the one I don’t like as much) with either Turquatic or Palm Trees Please to see if I enjoy that combination.
Lastly, I like Flowerbomb, but find myself much more addicted to Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid. Well that’s about all for now! 😅
3 perfumes that can enhance your perfume are : 1. Sweet like candy by Ariana Grande. 2. Rose Jam by Lush, and Toy 2 by Moschino, which is a yummy combo between rose, lychee and hubba bubba- classic bubble gum
My Lolitaland is that dark too. I find it’s the only perfume in my collection that when I smell from sprayer I think it smells completely off. On my skin I absolutely love it. It’s my favorite inexpensive perfume in my collection.
Have you ever tried Versace blue Dylan? I haven’t seen you really talking about any Versace perfumes
If you like her scent profile, you'd love Versace Dylan blue. Definitely a night scent. It's my absolute favorite.
Ksenja!! Did you know that Dolly Parton makes perfumes???! I found one at Burlington and it's really beautiful. It's called Tennessee Sunset and she has quite a few more! Also, at Burlington, I found a Whitney Houston perfume and another celebrity perfume but I can't remember whose... Also, there was a Sofia Vergara perfume called Tempting Paradise. Have you tried it?? You also have to check out Commodity's Milk+ (Bold) because I think you'd love it... I've heard Milk expressive is good, too, but Bold is so good! 😚💜🤟🏻
Recently got Safanad New for 180, and Cassili + Oriana for $120 each used (sprayed 2x) on Mercari :) ❤ delina isn’t my thing but those 3 are my favorites and I’m quite happy with them.

Great picks I love the Joe Malone one I have a small one. And your right Lolitaland is a strange perfume it has a note in it that is a bit off putting and it’s extremely sweet but the dry down is nice. I have had it a long time but I don’t grab it very much. I love the bottle and it is the right colour. Flowerbomb is one of my favourites if you want a cresmsickle smelling fragrance you need to try Amo by Ferragamo
My lolitaland isn’t that dark but it does have an orange color. To me lolitaland smells like peach, powder, and vanilla
How does delina compare to the Juliannas or dossier ones?
I mix my turquatic with Nebras . If you don’t have Nebras the rikishi perfume will do the trick. It’s such a good mix!
i was confused at first when i got lolitaland but after reading reviews i realized it was fine ., i LOVE lolitaland. it was my sotd for my baby shower this past august . & since then whenever i wear it , i wear it for a couple days before i can put it down lollll .

I was a little hesitant to blind buy Lolitaland because of the mixed reviews. Luckily to my nose it smells like an orange with a little peach creamsicle. Almost reminds me of B&bw orange vanilla twist but deeper and stronger. The juice in mine is lighter but I’ve seen others with the same color as yours.
I ordered lolitaland as well and felt the same. It sounded so good but there was some weird smell in there that turned me off. I still have it and keep trying with it but I’m not 100% with it yet. The first time I tried it, it gave me a headache. I don’t get cupcake/vanilla… I do pick up a bit of peach, but there’s still that “weird” background note! Mine is dark like that as well. I do LOVE the bottle and topper!

On your recommendation, I just tried Delina and Roberto Cavalli for the first time, today, actually. I love them both but I think I prefer Roberto. Delina is lovely but it's a skin scent and like a little more from my fragrances. I think I'll try Delina Exclusif next time. I also tried a few Ariana Grande fragrances and am not impressed, at all. I really want to try some more of Britney Spears scents but Fantasy is all I can ever find. Oh, and I've been looking far and wide for Guess Seductive Noir but I've had NO LUCK. 😪

I love original flower bomb; it doesn’t smell sickening sweet to me and the fact it actually smells like three totally different sense, depending on the temperature ❤️
What would you recommend to mix with to tone down the rose some? I have from scentbird and I hate the strength of the rose.

For Lolitaland .. I don't think you have a bad batch I think you may have an older batch where the vanilla turned which actually makes it more potent so I don't think it's a concern... As far as the smell goes for me it smells like the epitome of Halloween candy... It smells like Bit O Honey, orange, circus peanuts, twizzlers and candy corn all in one bowl

My Lolita land looks different from yours. Mine is a peachy color and where yours is gold mine is silver. I got mine in 2020 it’s smells to me like peach cobbler 😊

I have the Delina Body Cream 200ml and Delina Body Oil 100ml that I layer with my Very Good Girl ( very similar to Delina ) and it is AMAZING 😻. The Delina Exclusif is also very good but the oud gets stronger on my skin on the dry-down that I thought it was too chemical… but Delina, is SIMPLY FANTASTIC specially on the dry-down. Becomes the most beautiful delicious potent long lasting feminine powdery scent that is super chic, sensual and sexy. The original Delina is so versatile, can be worn in any season.
I wore the only Delina free sample I got from a perfume store at LIZZO`s consert here in Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴 and I was smelling and feeling amazing, a self confidence boost. I dont own a full bottle but after finishing my Very Good Girl, I will purchase Delina.
My peony & blush suede is sooo smoky on me. I love it but feel like a smoker every time I spray it on, and the smoke stays the whole way through. Really sad because I love it so much otherwise, so feminine and elegant. Don't know if my tester was bad? :/
There is 100% bitterness in Lolitaland, I don’t like it either and not sure where it’s coming from, apart from that it’s beautiful perfume. Like someone mentioned above, you gotta try Scarlet Poppy from Joe Malone, it’s fantastic

The black pepper and licorice in Lolitaland kind of are annoying to me. My juice is the same color as yours. very dark.

Scandal A Paris has a pear note , I don’t think it has honey . Scandal La parfum is totally different then the others, it’s more of a candy scent (it smells like Juliet has a gun mmmm) also So scandal is a raspberry tuberose fragrance
So scandal if you like tuberose bubble gum scents you'll love it!! I really enjoy it I even have a backup bottle 🙃🤫🤭
Lolitaland didn't work for me, and it is hard to pinpoint the reason; it just seemed heavy and muddled to me, and there is a note that makes me feel vaguely nauseated ☹️
I don't think your bottle of Lolitaland is "off". To me, it has a funky smell that I can't look past. Something in it just really bothers me. It gives me a weird cheesy feet smell vibe. But, Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy is the better version of that to me.
I do have Lolita land my daughter bought it for me for my birthday last summer because I do love Lolita lempicka the original and the juice of it it is kind of dark to it's almost like a dark orange it's like it's a beautiful perfume but something's off like something weird in the juice the perfume
