    I liked how GB actually lets people talk without interrupting their story. A lot of people who do interviews and stuff like that cut people off all the time.

    its actully a misnomer that athletes go broke by buying a lot of expensive things. most often its the fact that they literally give payments to extended family members, pay a dozen mortgages for family members, child support payments, divorce and bad investments (usually from unscrupulous financial advisers. NBA great Tim Duncan lost nearly 20 million dollars to a bad financial investor.
    the NBA put rookies through a financial symposium that started about a decade ago, and its been wildly successful. athletes are now starting to realize that spending money on extended family will inevitably make you broke. The NFL started doing it about 5 years ago.

But he was smart enough to know he needed help from the right person. Mom & Dad were just doing what people with no $ do. Shaqs well 😂 set up now, by taking good advice from the right person. And let’s be honest, his videos where he buys people stuff are so feel good. Good man ❤️

      +Confuzzled Weed it's only right to help them and they ask him for help....but instead of them asking to buy them that much much expensive car at that stage of his carrier and that limited money, the could tell home to 'slow down'.... Of course it's not my business to suggest a man how to spend his money... But my opinion is that the parents, as a mature ppl, should look out for you.

    • @nutssack
      @nutssack 8 лет назад +2

      ManUtdiszbest It's natural for a human to over look "right and wrong" when someone close receives a large amount of money. Sure maybe right now you might think that if you won the lottery or something you would donate to the poor/ charities, but if you actually receive that money, you're not gonna be thinking about right or wrong.

    Sub chapter "S-Corp" is a Tax loophole they wont teach you in school but most of the rich know about... It basically is a holding of Pre-Tax dollars & write off filings... In otha words' a way that you pay the LEAST amount of taxes possible!! Literally in some cases you can get away with spending all of your pre-tax gains & not pay taxes at aaall. & it be legal !! _i learned this through books! And asking highclass citizens, Educate yourself people.. The school system wont ever teach you financial freedom!
