"In the end, what matters isn't how long you live, but how fully you've lived." Words that make me sit here and ponder for a few minutes because they're so powerful.
I find it really interesting that when I heard a lot of the quotes they used in show, they weren't that special and sometimes even sounded corny and generic, but in this medium they are incredibly deep and thought provoking.
As a Millennial raised by the original run of Toonami, these video shorts have inspired me beyond description. We need more of these shows. We need to raise our children to welcome these inescapable questions of life. In my experience, it is only those struck early by these questions, who go on to lives searching for their own answers.
If watching cartoons as a kid taught me anything at all, its what the last line says, "In the end it doesn't matter how long we've lived, but how fully we've lived."
Toonami has the amazing ability to give people hope and power to those who needed the most I look forward to the day that toonami is restored to its former glory (sorry about the other post)
Another classic from Toonami. These guys never fail to deliver something so beautiful and moving by stringing together clips from their legendary lineup. Reminds me of a better time. A simpler time...so....incredibly moving...
Man.. this was a vibe I've been around since the inception of Toonami & I'm still here. Tom & the whole show have inspired me beyond belief thank you ❤🌌
"This world is full of things I don't understand.. but.. there IS one thing that I totally believe in! In the end, what matters isn't how long we've lived but how fully we've lived."
I love this video. Broken Promise, and now this one, really give me courage to keep on going whenever I feel depressed and like I don't know what to do with my life. It's silly to think a couple of cartoon videos gives someone motivation to keep on living life, especially when you're 25 years old, but they do. Whoever made Broken Promise and The Choice Is Yours gets all of my respect. These videos are beautiful and motivational.
I just literally got the chills seeing this. Toonami did it again ! This was a really good mini music vid. This reminds of toonami's " Broken promise [dreams]" vid. It was in a weird way very nostalgic and it made me think just for that short moment. Toonami is getting better and better. Hopefully in the near future it gets to the point were will be able to watch it every night on AS starting at 9pm sun - fri and have the regular midnight run every saturday :) Once again, that was good.
You just wrote exactly what my soul was saying, except I couldn't put it into words quite like you did. I'm sure I speak for many when I say you hit it right on the head. These videos are phenomenal
Don't watch Toonami That Much. when Have time to Watch it. But I remember seeing the Promo Liking it even Downloading the Song. This One Favorite next to Dreams Promo
Ahhh notice the ending scene when spike from cowboy bebop is embracing,,,JULIA,,,then you can grasp the measure of the message toonami has giving to us yo...
"This world is full of things I don't understand, but there is one thing I totally believe in." Does anyone know which show that quote is from at 0:44-0:50?
+tripletriad It's from Thundercats. Its the episode where lion o and the cats escort some leave like creatures through the forest. Throughout the episode lion o interacts with one of the leave peoples since he was a child all the way until he is old (they have very rapid life cycles). Beautiful episode by the way. The quote stuck with me since then.

OMG yes that got to me
I find it really interesting that when I heard a lot of the quotes they used in show, they weren't that special and sometimes even sounded corny and generic, but in this medium they are incredibly deep and thought provoking.

Toonami: Making millennials cry since 1998

wish it had turned out that way
If watching cartoons as a kid taught me anything at all, its what the last line says, "In the end it doesn't matter how long we've lived, but how fully we've lived."
"Always take pride in the lives given you" these quotes are stuff I would write in stone

Toonami has the amazing ability to give people hope and power to those who needed the most I look forward to the day that toonami is restored to its former glory (sorry about the other post)
I think the best way to appreciate this video is too close your eyes and just listen.
Another classic from Toonami. These guys never fail to deliver something so beautiful and moving by stringing together clips from their legendary lineup. Reminds me of a better time. A simpler time...so....incredibly moving...

Nearly brought me to tears
Beautiful. Toonami
"This world is full of things I don't understand.. but.. there IS one thing that I totally believe in! In the end, what matters isn't how long we've lived but how fully we've lived."
It's absolutely crushing that when he said that, it showed Spike and Julia making their lives complete.
Oh agreed 100% @Colton Turner very emotional the way they set all up the video like that. It's such a great clip

I was 319. I absolutely admire this song. I wish it would just play in my head on repeat. Thank you.

That is still the line from ThunderCats that brings tears to my eyes. Emrick the Petalar said that just before he died.
This seems like the second best Toonami music video ever
Begins with Spike, ends with Spike!
