Nice work getting the camera angles. It's a tight install. Thanks for putting this together.
Thanks man. I try my hardest. I know it makes it so much easier for those that need it.
Just picked up my first Xterra! So glad you've posted all these videos!
My pleasure!!
Been following since 2016. I still have my frontier and this guy always saves me ton of $$$ in labor. I appreciate all of the effort making videos. you make sure we see it all step by step even in a hard to reach tights spots.
Great to hear! I appreciate you sticking around, means a lot. 💪🏻💪🏻
I could've used this video about 3 months ago lol but I figured it out anyway.
🤘🏻🤘🏻 You had it within you all along.
I like the huge alternator in the thumbnail!
Hahah thank you, I like to do that when I replace one component.
good job
When I was doing timing chain, this was hardest part (to put back/of the whole freaking job).
Likewise!
Annoying right?!? That punch ended up helping a TON to line it back up.
Do you mind explaining how the engine cover can damage the valve cover? I have not come across that before. I have watched the entire 8-Ball series and loved it. Great work!
Came here to ask the exact same thing. Never thought about this, but maybe it's because it holds in excess heat??
He has a short talking about it. But basically, for the guys in the cold, it freezes on lol
When it's really cold it will be hard to take off. If you pull too hard it will literally snap the mount right off the valve cover and rip a hole into it. Why they used a plastic valve cover to mount stuff is beyond me. ruclips.net/user/shortsBV63_8fzHa4?si=_bbFf8wqsxtnyx8N
@@Rythecarguy Thank you for the reply.
Awesome 👏🏻
Thanks!
That seems like a pain to remove 😂 good work!
Thanks man!
I need to replace my timing chain, can you do a vid?😊
Already did! About 7 years ago
I have a 09 nissan qashqai, I recently replaced the radio because it had an after market radio installed and wasn't working properly, the one I put in is an original but it's just saying "secure" with no option to put in a code, any help?, I can do a hack to bypass but the radio will only stay on for ten minutes every time so it's a bit annoying to do this all the time!
Lol i just did mine last week!
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hey man, you wouldn't happen to have the MAF off your donor X? If so, let me know
Or know how to get rid of the P0101
Yes I have the MAF. Not sure on 0101, would have to research it.
👍
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hey rythecarguy I know ur busy but I have an issue I can't figure out rebuilt my 06 vq40 and still low oil pressure at idle. Any ideas I'm stumped!
What have you done so far?
Rebuilt it twice ,new oil pump, the only thing not new is crank I Cleaned it up and new standard bearings.
Cv axles?
What about em?
@Rythecarguy sorry, I am NOT mechanically inclined at all... I know I need CV joints replaced, if I buy a 2 pack of axles, will that also change the joints?
