I swear If you want a watch that’s accurate , takes an absolute beating, and does everything you ask it for a bargain , not to mention many look really damn good and you can find them for very little cash. Great work showcasing the Citizens 👊🏼
Thanks for confirming that the pushes/buttons only click for the first push and then after there is no positive click. At first I though it was broken or defective yet the 2nd push would still start and stop the tachy. Anyway good video, I agree that lack of positive click is a terrible feeling.
Great review which tickled my itch for a Speedmaster lookalike with Eco-drive, which I love. When searching I came across the model AT2411-50E at Argos, going for $150 with a solid link bracelet and an even closer match to the look of a Speedmaster. It's a big watch with 44mm diameter and 48mm lug to lug, but it fits perfectly on my 17mm wrist. Thanks for the heads-up.
Great review as always strap show greatly appreciated pretty sure I'd chuck that bracelet in a few days I'm heading to your strap store now Thanks again 👍
Thank you Dan for a great presentation. I really like Citizen watches, and this chronograph is a cracking one. Love the proportions and design. I'm a big fan of Eco-Drive. Another winner 🏆 Thank you again and have a wonderful Sunday 🙏👍👏
Nice review, thanks. The chronographer's seconds hand on mine is exactly as yours: perfect on the 0 position and slightly off the mark after you start it. Maybe it's a problem that afflicts all the watches with this movement?
@@watchmewithwatches your next mission is to review a radio controlled/ atomic watch there is one on amazon for 30 quid with a claimed accuracy of 1sec per 138 million years! its a talking watch designed for the visually impaired ,has a analogue face, used ones pop up on ebay for less than20 quid
Good review Dan. Nice looking watch. The use of the word “chronograph“ by the watch industry is open to wide interpretation as is their use of the words “dive watch”. I would be hard pressed to time something to a ten of a second with most inexpensive chronographs. Cheers. Edit: spelling corrected
That's a great watch, I don't have a Citizen, it's something I intend to put right soon. The only think I'd have preferred, as this is a very active style watch, would have been a brushed steel case, that would be perfect for me. Are there any brushed Citizen chronographs I wonder? 🤔 Another fantastic review. Oh, BTW, I did notice that some other chronos often have a softer feeling on the stop position. I believe it's to assist with more accurate stopping action rather than having to press it in as it might add some milliseconds to the actual stop time, if you know what I mean!!
I'm not sure tbh, it's worth trying, but good fitment isn't guaranteed as every watch has a different positioning of the holes for the spring bars and the lug designs are also different! Unless a dedicated strap has been made it is trial and error.
Just grabbed a 2019 h500 for 50 quid and I think even though it's smaller than I normally have but a lovely time piece. Can you replace the straps with leather I'm wondering
At the £150 ish, perfect....the 24 hour sub dial, I can take or leave it, having been in non daylight situations for prolonged periods of time in the past then they can serve a purpose....it would look cleaner if it lost the 24 and the date was moved to the 6....the bracelet comes as no surprise for a high street brand at this price, I'd normally take it straight off....the crazy horse really did improve it overall, superb looking strap, I must pick one up....🏴⌚🏴⌚

Very nice watch! I have quite a few Citizen watches. Great brand.
Great review! Great channel!
Cheers!
Thanks 😇
Great review 👍🏻 I received my straps the other day loving the baby blue/grey Perlon. Cheers!
Lovely watch. Would happily have one of those. Great review as usual!
Thanks Gentil
You review a lot of great budget watches! Thank you!
You are welcome!

You too Felo! Thank you. 😊
Nice Watch, looks great on the alternative staps.. probably the first Citizen crono eco I'd actually consider, can see why you went for it.

I’ve been looking for this one for a while at the right price now I’ve found it and it’s on the way I love citizen ecosystem.
citizen eco drive vastly underrated a true workhorse
I agree 👍

Thanks Chris, that's a great point you made. 👍
The Seiko mecha-quartz chronos sweep at 5 ticks per second so you can get 1/5 second. I have couple of those and they are affordable.
@@TheMasonator777 I generally like those. 👍🏻
Nice find, I notice there's a silver dial and black/gold tone available on Joma too..
That's right, 👍

That's very useful info mate 👍
Hey mate, mind me asking howw you managed to change the strap im having some problems with it.
Hoping you see this thanks
Nice review mate
Thanks Craig
Would a curved rubber band strap work with this or are the lugs curved downwards too much and woukd create a large gap on the case?

@@watchmewithwatcheswhat is the lug to lug length?
A great looking watch, but I would go with the Casio Edifice range all day long.

Yes indeed!
It's a nice looking watch at a wearable size....Specwise it's disappointing like most budget Citizens
I agree, just need sapphire and a better bracelet
I needed to remove the back of my 15 year old Citizen Eco-drive Nighthawk to change the capacitor (battery).
This is not a budget Seiko Speedmaster though it is cheaper than Seiko. Citizen Eco-Drive is a better solar movement than Seiko.

You have a knack at showing a watch that I’m not very interested in, then by the end of the vid I want one, lol!
@@hootonhoot lol, no way!
Steel band because its masculine
Ouch that bracelet ... 🤦♂️
