Love this, Looks great, trying to come up with an idea for a steampunk style coffee table and something like this could work great!! My only suggestion, due to my OCD would be turn the light sideways, that way you don’t see the bottom of it in the reflections.
I did think that, my only concern was that it may have looked a little chaotic, plus if I put them against the mirrorl the wood contraction might make a gap between the wood and mirror so I just opted for vertical
For the lid I'd have attached the boards with glue and dowels for alignment rather than with pocket holes. The effect is quite distracting. Other than that, it's a fun looking project. I'm curious how much it weighs altogether though with that thick glass
It's light enough to move around a room by yourself, if I had to move it out of the room I'd take the glass out first. I reckon it weighs around 30-35kg without the glass
Nice effect, love the red lamp. Liked the fact you kept any mistakes in, so viewers can learn from them as well, subscribed!
Another classic split bark W
"Hell yeah, that was epic!"

Amazing !
You could make it into a cover for a secret underground bunker. Nobody would suspect it.
Nice job mate , just my opinion but i think the inner boards may have worked better horizontal 👍

Aw mate, the sigh and the ‘I really don’t want to do this’. Feel your pain brother, classic on the spot modification
