I think it’s clever tbh. They did a really good job of putting a modern twist on what the car was built to be in the movie: a 10 second no prep drag car. Plus all the tribute cars are street cars so this is something different.
@@tanner8355 I would had not minded as much had they not cut the quarter panels. Now who ever buys the car in the future and wants a street setup will have to buy new quarters to restore it.
@@evoman44 I’m sure if they ever do sell it, they’re bound to find someone who likes it as it is. Just need one person to like it enough to buy it. Besides with the ad/sponsor revenue the build videos generate they’ve probably already gotten back what they put into the car (and then some I’m sure)
this has got to be one of the most entertaining car videos I've ever watched on youtube as well as the most amazing build by far. The attention to detail that every person put into their job on this car as a team is really admirable and had a beautiful outcome. The love and passion for cars really shine through this video because indeed it is a form of art and not often do people appreciate it.
