All of his weaponry and defensive armour after all is at the front of his body, and in addition, to 'win', all Triceratops has to do is stay alive. So T rex would ambush from out of the undergrowth attacking the rear end, or T rex would pick on an old, or juvenile or injured Trike, or they would attack in a group - maybe one from the front and one from the vulnerable rear. One thing I'm pretty certain about is that a head on attack like this just wouldn't normally take place - it would be foolhardy in the extreme of the T rex.
First dinosaur video ive ever seen when the herbivore finally won. I dont understand why people always make rex win when one stab from Triceratops' horns would be instant death.
Yeah and most herbs we’re faster or had armor or stuff like horns spike tails they make the herbivores die in one bite but The carnivores always seem to be invincible
Meat Dragon i think it would happen most of the time. If it were a fight and the triceratops didnt charge like a fool how does t rex get around the horns. The real t rex probably took a horn to the back of the throat when it chomped of it's horn.
Marilyn Giss again it doesn't need to charge. its like fighting a bear with a spear if he charges his weight would impale himself. unless there is another rex to sneak around it. the tric has more distance and an expendable shield

Lol yeah right... I don't even know how paleontologists measure an already fossilized creature's bite... They say that a rex's bite is 17 times stronger than a gator's bite... Perhaps by basing on the size of their bones... Dunno
Because the T. rex is so massive he couldn’t turn and attack again so the trike said fuck it now is my chance and killed the rex mad respect to the rex as it is my favorite dino
A lion is 1/4 to 1/3 the size of a bull but the T-Rex is larger/heavier than his prey, the Triceratops. Do tell, how is that anywhere similar to a lion vs. bull scenario?
Jim Garrison actually triceratops was heavier than t.rex by quite a bit the average t.rex was about 7 tons the average triceratops was 10 and the largest t.rex was about 9 tons and the largest triceratops was about 12 tons so yeah there goes your argument down the drain.
Animals generally avoid taking any unnecessary risks that would so much as get them injured, because even a fairly minor wound, if it gets infected, can easily prove fatal. An adult T-Rex would probably only go after a healthy adult Triceratops if it was desperately hungry or the Triceratops was weakened by sickness or injury; like any predator it was likely opportunistic and mixed hunting manageable prey with carrion. While it was one of the most impressive predators ever to walk on land, it was no mindless killing machine; it would have operated similarly to any living animal with an instinct for self-preservation. There's a possibility that T-Rexes hunted in packs, but no real evidence so far to suggest it. But even if that were the case, taking on a herd of dangerous herbivores like Triceratops would have been foolhardy; again, they'd much more likely have isolated a weak or young individual and coordinated their attacks to their advantage.
T-Rex often had a mate and they hunted together. The first one would destract Triceratops and the secund one (most likely the male) would ambush from behind with a first and final blow.
André Fabri Except we don’t have definitive evidence that it’s relatives hunted in family packs either. Finding the bones of multiple individuals in the same area can have multiple explanations for it and isn’t concrete indication they hunted/lived as a group (depending on the geologic site). Even if we entertained the argument that certain other members of its taxonomic family (tyrannosauridae) were social it’s not evidence for T.rex _itself_ boasting such a behavioral repertoire. I’m not saying such behavior isn’t a possibility for some tyrannosaurids, because it certainly is I’m just saying we’re by no means sure.
What many don't realize is that predators fail more often than they succeed. That being said, this video still gets it wrong. Predators almost never take it this far. The T.rex would retreat long before risking a goring.
“The Trex would retreat long before risking a goring” I’m guessing you were there to observe these animals interacting with each other.....Be careful before you state things that aren’t actually fact
The reason the Rex gets hit is actually because it was turning to retreat. And the Trike charged in at the moment of weakness. It’s bad timing to retreat then it was killed it.
Aunque todos estemos a favor del T rex en la naturaleza las cosas son distintas, para que un Tiranosaurio venza definitivamente a un Triceratops tendría que tener pareja, ahí si que el Triceratops estaría en total desventaja a la hora de combate.
All the triceratops would have to do is keep its face pointed towards the T-rex, it's horns and frill would protect it from any attack. If the T-rex tried to manuver around, just turn around with it lol
Sir, you do understand that even if a horn will break, despite the fact that that a trikes horn is not fillled with air, that a trikes frill can take a rex bite force and still remain sturdy?
Well maybe Tyrannosaurus Rex hunted in mated pairs or maybe even Male bulls who have yet to find a mate kind of like rogue lions. Then not much could take on 2 Trex.
+Seth campise and you never feel sad when the T-rex came charging at the Triceratops? The T-rex came charging, what do you expect? The Triceratops just stand there and die? No, it defended itself. If the Triceratops died, you wouldn't feel sad for it would you? Of course not...

yeah and all what you care about is that the t-rex looked cute while the t-rex almost killed the triceratops and snapped its horn. WHY THE HELL WOULD TRICERATOPS CARE?!
Lovely, applying human-like emotions to a carnivorous dinosaur with the brain of a walnut... Since we're playing that game, how about this: that triceratops has a starving baby-cera frightened to death, hiding behind a nearby bush. Having just witnessed her mother dueling another for the last gazing ground, and then having to fend off a ferocious predator. Now she's weakened and injured, can she still provide her child a decent future? :p What do you expect, the triceratops to give the t-rex a proper burial?
Roy J Picture this: The hungry mother T-Rex brings her three hungry young out to show them how to hunt, and they watch as their mother dies slowly, and they starve painfully.

One thing I'm pretty certain about is that a head on attack like this just wouldn't normally take place - it would be foolhardy in the extreme of the T rex.
Go Triceratops!!
OMG!!! I REMEMBER THIS DOCUMENTARY, I WATCHED IT WHEN I WAS LITTLE!! What is it called again??
Who was the King. By BBC. theres also who killed who, which is about velociraptors
When you were little !! Now I feel old 😂
The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs
@@unknownuser5193 thanks, I used to religiously watch dinosaur documentaries when I was like 7-8 years old.
First dinosaur video ive ever seen when the herbivore finally won. I dont understand why people always make rex win when one stab from Triceratops' horns would be instant death.
Exactly, well said. The t rex had no armour so why so many people believe it would have been impervious to four foot long horns is beyond me.
Yeah and most herbs we’re faster or had armor or stuff like horns spike tails they make the herbivores die in one bite but The carnivores always seem to be invincible
It’s stupid
Triceratops was more savage than T. Rex. Like damn!
Ver como moría el T.rex, es fue fatal para mi, que asta marco mi infancia :""3
Xd
Of course a triceratops would win every once in a while.
Meat Dragon i think it would happen most of the time. If it were a fight and the triceratops didnt charge like a fool how does t rex get around the horns. The real t rex probably took a horn to the back of the throat when it chomped of it's horn.
Meat Dragon well you cant sey that I meen it can winn your write but it isn't fast anaph to charg the t rex
Marilyn Giss again it doesn't need to charge. its like fighting a bear with a spear if he charges his weight would impale himself. unless there is another rex to sneak around it. the tric has more distance and an expendable shield
Are you dumb if a t rex bit the triceratops the triceratops would have died because of the time rex bite force
+Aaryan Joshi Depends on where Sexy Rexy bites the Triceratops...
It’s death was so dramatic, I saw that reaction with the freaking eyeball
Both are Prehistoric warriors
You people should understand all the videos and games and things about dino battle like this are all fake!
And none of you can decide which is stronger like TRex Vs Spinosaurus whose the real KING, I am a TRex fan but i WON'T DECIDE because they're still a lot of things that even scientists don't know about dinosaurus!
Lol yeah right... I don't even know how paleontologists measure an already fossilized creature's bite... They say that a rex's bite is 17 times stronger than a gator's bite... Perhaps by basing on the size of their bones... Dunno
Muscles leave marks on the bones
Alchris John Balita They can tell by the strength of the skull, it's shape, and where the muscles attached to estimate it's bite force.
Gotta remember too T-Rex and Spino didn't even live at the same time or in the same place.
Alexis Sanchez7 so true
p.s. it look like the triceratops was sad when he killed him and it looked sad when the t-rex was dieing
Who watching in 2024?
Me, and I’m the 3 like.
2:34 That drama... T_T
Because the T. rex is so massive he couldn’t turn and attack again so the trike said fuck it now is my chance and killed the rex mad respect to the rex as it is my favorite dino
The trike was more heavy than t rex
its like a lion vs a bull. face to face the bull kills the "king"
A lion is 1/4 to 1/3 the size of a bull but the T-Rex is larger/heavier than his prey, the Triceratops. Do tell, how is that anywhere similar to a lion vs. bull scenario?
Horns
devin Espinoza xDDDD
Jim Garrison actually triceratops was heavier than t.rex by quite a bit the average t.rex was about 7 tons the average triceratops was 10 and the largest t.rex was about 9 tons and the largest triceratops was about 12 tons so yeah there goes your argument down the drain.
Jim Garrison you clearly don't know how muscular and large a lion is, it is not just 1/4 or 1/3 the size of a bull. Its actually almost the same size
It all depends on who gets in the first strike. Because there will almost definitely not be time for a counter.
It’s cool how triceratops won for once
True. Nice to see some change for the better. I'm not saying T-Rex would never win but I like to see a Triceratops win in a fair fight.
T. rex mistake was to step back, and lower his guard down, if he just kept attacking it could have ended the other way around
If he just stood there he would be attacked anyway
T-Rex often had a mate and they hunted together. The first one would destract Triceratops and the secund one (most likely the male) would ambush from behind with a first and final blow.
u know the Trex doesn't need a mate to kill a triceratops u know
Eh, the t rex was single I guess...
Sad he died a virgin.
Who told you that? We know nothing of whether they were solitary or lived in pairs as adults
@@jasonvoorhees5180 yes we do. Close relatives hunt in family packs, so T-rex most likely would too
André Fabri Except we don’t have definitive evidence that it’s relatives hunted in family packs either.
What's the name of this show again I watched when I was 6 but I don't remember the name of the series.
*BLOODY TRICERATOPS*
I don't require big details, but Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in different chalk.
Actually, if the Tyrannosaurus Rex tried to run, all bones in his legs would shatter almost instantly
^-^
really wrong
The trex could run just not that fast
@@chunkyboy2670 exactly
It could run faster than a non-fit person
About 15-18 Mph
Sad music is playing when t’Rex dies poor t’Rex 😞
2:22 who heard that? Lmao 😂😆😁!
Everyone
For a second I thought it was my ear buds
it sead eeee
increwnxyshwgxvsvVVsfsfzbwgefsgWgahwhebxgswksbstsvdvefstevsvgw
😭 t rex :'(
What many don't realize is that predators fail more often than they succeed. That being said, this video still gets it wrong. Predators almost never take it this far. The T.rex would retreat long before risking a goring.
TyrannosaurusLives Very true, this is reality not fucking Dragon Ball Super.
“The Trex would retreat long before risking a goring”
I’m guessing you were there to observe these animals interacting with each other.....Be careful before you state things that aren’t actually fact
@@jasonvoorhees5180 you don't know either.
I didn’t say I did
The reason the Rex gets hit is actually because it was turning to retreat. And the Trike charged in at the moment of weakness. It’s bad timing to retreat then it was killed it.
Aunque todos estemos a favor del T rex en la naturaleza las cosas son distintas, para que un Tiranosaurio venza definitivamente a un Triceratops tendría que tener pareja, ahí si que el Triceratops estaría en total desventaja a la hora de combate.
si
T-rex is the best dino in the world 😁
All the triceratops would have to do is keep its face pointed towards the T-rex, it's horns and frill would protect it from any attack. If the T-rex tried to manuver around, just turn around with it lol
Nevet underestimate a herbivore 😊😊
The tile was 2 t rex and a triceratops i only saw like one t rex and 2 triceratops
It's part 2 of the documentary
@@friendlyneighborhoodkelbea7258 shut the fuck up
T-Rex is the best dinosaur ever
i like spinosuars
Lol
Sandoval750 I bet he would've liked you 😂😂😂
Sandoval750 like a protoceratops :D it can be a pet.
Sandoval750 were talking about the T-Rex not a spinosaus
Spinosuars? Spinosaus?
Poor T. rex, SAD MUSIC PLZ!!
Fist of all 2-T Rexes? Can you count? And Second it was Discoverd that Triceratops Horns had air inside so they would breake
Gamerboy 77 no they wouldn't the horns were made of sturdy thick bone for good reason.
Sir, you do understand that even if a horn will break, despite the fact that that a trikes horn is not fillled with air, that a trikes frill can take a rex bite force and still remain sturdy?
Maybe he mistake himself instead of 2 triceratops
if they would break then why the fuck does it have 2 horns sticking out of its skull ? for decoration ? bruh
I have this Dinosaur Face Off Program on DVD.
R.I.P Trex 2016-2017 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Very nice video! Now if I were the triceratops personally, I'd finish off the T. rex when it laid down and stab its throat out.
Go triceratops
Gissela Padilla 👍👍👍
Idiot
Well maybe Tyrannosaurus Rex hunted in mated pairs or maybe even Male bulls who have yet to find a mate kind of like rogue lions. Then not much could take on 2 Trex.
Darjaboo yes,2 trikes, they also wander in herds
Poor Trex😢
NOT REALLY Ha got em' triceratops rules trex is a loser
+Seth campise and you never feel sad when the T-rex came charging at the Triceratops? The T-rex came charging, what do you expect? The Triceratops just stand there and die? No, it defended itself. If the Triceratops died, you wouldn't feel sad for it would you? Of course not...
+Bob Craft I admit it is pretty sad
TREX NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
didnt t rex hunted in packs????
yes it did
i know rite?
no you all are wrong that dinosaur you are talking about was a whole different dinosaur but in the same family with t Rex
you can tell the difference t Rex is bigger
gorgasaur? tarbosaur? tell me!!!!!
+Shawn Vue it is the argentinosaurus
So obvius always a trex loss what ever he meets. I dont understand lol. If he was the most dangerous on the planet i dont really he lost that many fights
Christoffer Gard who said it was the most dangerous no go on tell me. And how do you know that it losg many battles if it lost as many as you think it would have gone extinct a lot faster. But you dont know wjat you're talking about and are just telling total bs
An animal is an animal, not a god.
Learn grammar
Triceratops: Dont mess with me >:)
plus I never like T rex so it shod die t rex sucks sucks and SUCKS
Shut up you idiot no one likes you
Aaryan Joshi It was his opinion and I like him.
K man I was JK
What Kind of like friends or love lol
Ban him!!!!!
I mean with a bite force to six to five thousand pounds it probably would've snapped those horns like a twig
But triceratops also had one of the strongest skull
I'm sad because trex died at the end trex looked so cute and now I hate triceratops because he didn't even care!
yeah and all what you care about is that the t-rex looked cute while the t-rex almost killed the triceratops and snapped its horn.
What do you expect, the triceratops to give the t-rex a proper burial?
Roy J If you think T-Rex had a walnut brain, than you have very little knowledge on this highly intelligent predator.
***** Don't forget to take the Triceratops to court and determine if legal force was justified in lieu of alternate self defense tactics...
Roy J Picture this: The hungry mother T-Rex brings her three hungry young out to show them how to hunt, and they watch as their mother dies slowly, and they starve painfully.
I cried for the tyrannosaurus
triceratops are better than t rex
