      A trike can stay on the defensive or charge full into a Rex and go offensive. Ur also prob dealing with more than one usually. And lastly it has range on the Rex. If the anklo swings there is an opening and the anklo has no mobility it has to turn its head to look at a Rex to swing. A hit from a anklo shattered bones and impairs the Rex for the remainder of its life until it dies. A hit from a trike kills on the spot. Puncture damage on that scale will almost always be immediately more lethal.

      We actually lived amongst giant creatures and animals. We just exterminated everything that posed a threat to our existence so much that only the smaller ones remain. The only big animals living left are usually living in places where humans are not as widespread.
      So I don't think our world today would be that different, we would just have different animals running around. Most likely smaller sized dinosaurs. Like most current birds.

    Honestly, it baffles me how many people seem to think Jurassic Park is a nature documentary rather than Science-Fiction. No paleontologist has ever suggested that Tyrannosaurus rex could only see movement. That's a purely fictional theory that Grant has in the book. It's even stated in the book that the people at Jurassic Park genetically engineered their T. rex to have movement-based vision simply because they wanted it to adhere to Grant's theories, not because they believed it to be part of the animals actual biological makeup.

    • @mahna_mahna
      @mahna_mahna 4 года назад +19

      Many animals with 2 eyes do NOT see in 3d. Most herbivores, like cows, for example. They see in a 2d panorama. This is more effective because for a herbivore, you want to see as far around you as possible to watch for predators. Cows have a 300 degree view, seeing everywhere other than directly behind. But they have terrible depth perception due to lack of stereoscopic (3d) vision. But grass is a pretty slow prey, so that doesn't hamper them. But a predator needs that depth perception because it's going to be lunging and biting. They want to sink their teeth into a neck, not air.

    • @j.r.harris5090
      @j.r.harris5090 4 года назад +13

      Yeah, and 3D eyesight was an extremely rare trait to have in dinosaurs. Most therapods like allosaurus had primitive eyesight and their eyes were small and faced away from the front of their faces,usually positioned in corner of the face. T. rex however had eyes that were facing forward and were positioned above the corners of their snout. Usually when an animals eyes are facing forward they are facing forward for a reason. You know how much different a T. rex skull would look if it had poor eyesight? The eyes would be positioned similar to a an allosaurid, not to mention the video LITERALLY says they are the size of cricket balls (slightly larger than a baseball) you don’t just have binocular eyes just to have poor vision. Judging by the size of the eyes, scientists concluded T. rex could see 6 km away. Keep in mind that humans can only see 1.6 km away

To my surprise, the Triceratops was much more aggressive - if not more so than T- Rex. They were very territorial, like hippos. The T- Rex’s pretty-much kept their distance. Who would have thought ? Anyways - Kudos to the photographers here ! Great Job ! Can’t wait to get all of my photos published ! 😎👍

    To those who say Spino would have won against a T.Rex in real life: Not a chance! The T.Rex was the ultimate predator and had the strongest bite force of all land living animals, had the brute strenght and was heavily muscled, so it would be very hard to knock it down. And the Spino mostly ate fish and small dinosaurs, so it was much weaker than the T.Rex. And the Spinos long claws wouldn't do much damage to the T.Rex as it had a very thick skin.

      No Excuses when there’s massive open space behind the nostril openings, it’s pretty clear it’s sense of smell was amazingly good. And the brain case of the skull gives us a template of the brain itself, and since brains are generally designed the same way, not necessarily in the same shapes, then we can accurately state things like the olfactory love being very large in T-Rex

      Yeah it's all bs. Dinosaurs were never even real. Most of the bones are fake. The real ones that were discovered are from giants that lived a long time ago and dinosaurs are just a cover up.

    Tyrannosaurus Rex remains the ULTIMATE carnivore to ever walk the Earth.
    Sure, there were some heavier (Spinosaurus) or longer (Giganotosaurus) theropods, but none of them was fully equipped to take down all kinds of prey, like T.Rex was. It was one of the last dinosaurs, so it was ahead of its predecessors in the evolutionary lineage: it had a bigger brain, better eyesight, it was bulkier, more muscly and had a stronger neck and bite force than the others.
    It was fully designed to kill. It is not by chance that it battled and hunted the largest and most powerful members of each dinosaur group: Triceratops (largest member of the ceratopsians), Ankylosaurus (largest member of the thyreophorans), Edmontosaurus...
    No other carnivore could have successfully faced such opposition, like T.Rex did.

      nightbling890 WHAT ? T.Rex had the most powerfull bite on the land . Spinosaurus had a pathetic bite force with it's long thin jaws , Spinosaurus's bite force is 2 tons but T.Rex bite force is 6,5 tons . Also T.Rex had heavier and more muscular body unlike the spinosaurus's long skinny body. Also Spinosaurus's teeth were evolved for holding fish , T.Rex's teeth were evolved for crushing bones. Only Meagalodon and Dunkleosteus can outbite a T.Rex

    • @DartBProductions
      @DartBProductions 6 лет назад +17

      T. rex would struggle against a sauropod though. You can't really compare any of these theropods because each had killing characteristics suited for their own ecology. Giganotosaurus had slicing teeth to make massive sauropods bleed out, Spinosaurus had a long snout and developed forearms to hunt fish, and Tyrannosaurus had a killer bite to crush the bones of the smaller but more armored herbivores of its time.

    Undoubtedly the most badass dinosaur ever to roam the earth.
    >Most powerful bite force ever of any terrestrial animal on earth.
    >A mouthful of savage bacteria, one bite & your prey/enemy is dead within a day or two.
    >Deadly killing eyesight than anyother theropod/sauropod.
    >Enormous sense of smell than anyother theropod/sauropod.
    &
    >A robust muscular body of 9+ tonnes.
    A perfect kickass predator by all means.

    Comment from below:
    "If T-Rex didn’t go extinct human population would be dropped every year.😂
    "
    That's really not likely. Maybe 200 years ago, that would be the case; although if the T-Rex was seen as a big enough threat 200 years ago, I'm sure humans would've done everything they could to insure its extinction anyways.
    Humans are responsible for the extinction of some absolutely insane creatures. We wiped Woolly Mammoths and Sabers off the field while the environment warming killed off any remainders. That was thousands of years ago. Imagine what we could do today.
    Our species can completely destroy the entire planet with less than half of our strongest ordinance. I guarantee you that modern military grade weaponry would pretty easily take down a T-Rex and some explosives would destroy their nesting eggs so they couldn't reproduce.
    Even without the weaponry, we could blind them without laying a hand on them or leak fumes into the air so they breathe it in and pass out. Possibly burn a whole forest down to smoke them out and kill them.
    While it wouldn't come to this, we also have: tanks, helicopters, military jets, some of the most insane naval armaments in all of human history, nuclear missiles, and unmanned drones that can be controlled from half way around the world. Robotic military advancements and the improvement of AI will only make humans less necessary and soon a robot could do it for us.
    The argument against humans going out due to the rise of the T-Rex again is the same argument that makes the success of a Planet of the Apes-style rebellion and any zombie virus that requires external transmission absolutely impossible.
    We're just far too established and not even remotely vulnerable enough for that to be an issue. If anything, we're the biggest danger to ourselves; beginning with our constant clogging of the space around our planet with satellites. For more on that issue, there are plenty of articles addressing it but it's pretty nuts.

      Hunter gatherer Humans will Drive those Giant slow moving dumb animals to extinction Its just a big slow target.. Hell they can wipe out an entire forest of Dinos if they want.. Just dam the water supply.. Burn the forrest.. Let them kill each other for the little resources left.. Dispatch a clean up party for the rest of the weak dying poor Dinos.. Dnt compare us Humans to any animals sorry to say we are head and shoulders above the rest.. Had we existed with them.. They will go extinct just by pollution done by our energy needs..
