Road Warrior Animal was lame, but it didn’t help the live reaction or the match that everyone in the building was worried about Sid, who was laying in the ring with a gruesome injury.

While the Aces & 8s angle in TNA was not very appealing since it was yet another reboot of the nWo but this time with a bunch of midcarders and jobbers in the ranks, I still think that Bubba really tried to make the most out of it. He wasn't bad at all as single top heel, very easy to boo.
Nikki Bella’s heel turn though, I mean, she was wearing Kardashian-inspired looks during her promos but still got her sporty in-ring gear during that heel run, I know Nikki and Brie made their feud, they tried, it’s just all over the place, and don’t get me started with Nikki’s “wombgate” quote(“I wish you died in the womb”), it sounded like a rip off of RPDR’s Jaremi’s(Phi Phi o Hara) Party City Quote(“Go Back to Party City Where you belong”)
Heel Austin himself I would say was never really the problem, although he had the age old WWF/E issue of refusing to book a heel as a credible comeptitor consistently. They always seem to fall back into having to not just bend the rules and be overly ruthless within the rules, but cheat outright (see also Roman Reigns, who apparently can't beat anyone clean other then his midcard cousin) Austin's heel character worked fine though, but he was also inanely paired with illogical people. Why would he suddenly align with Vince of all people. HHH they actually explained well, but HHH's injury cut that off. Then in round 2 he's suddenly shane and stephanies lackey, under the banner of a company he also storyline/real life despised. There are of course other circumstances. The biggest other babyface left to do a movie, HHH (who presumably might've turned into an anti-hero or at least a competitor) got injured. Benoit got injued. And the Invasion happened and prettymuch every heel got sucked into having to join the Alliance as WWE refused to provide a more nuanced narrative with both rosters having faces and heels.

Bully’d been a wrestler for years, he’d been beaten up, hit with chairs, and put through tables countless times, why would he be afraid to let his henchmen rough him up for the sake of the plan?
Brock Lesnar winning the Men's Money in the bank Ladder match in 2019 was awesome because I attended the PPV and someone who was sitting next to me said that Brock was already at the arena hours before the PPV started and Bully Ray being revealed as the president of the Aces And Eights didn't make sense since he was Feuding with them before the reveal and it had Vince Russo written all over it.
