Speaking of being banned for having an opinion, I was banned years ago for saying PUBG was a dead game...literally that was it, and I'm still banned on your Twitch channel. Pretty cool
Usually there's a very good reason that the mods ban people but if you really do think you were hard done by and wanna be unbanned then send an unban request.
@@Skarin1452 Very true. But I think the "talking past each other" in the other direction is much more dangerous. On the "my tubes" principal, people said "get your own twitter" and then when that sorta happened* world governments went from backroom pressure to legislative attack. One of many such cases from the last decade. 'Dumb dumbs mad at chat bans' really feels like a straw-man that runs cover for the greatest threat of our time (surpassing climate change within its time horizon.)
@Uberwald93 ehh, I don't think a lot of people watching someone play PUBG care to hear about some random chatters opinion on anything, especially politics. Of course idk what they were even talking about, but save your "controversial" opinions for political streams, social media, etc. Many people streamers don't allow political, religious, or other controversial topics on their stream because it disrupts the chat and a lot of times turns into pointless insults.
This is exactly why I was waiting for him to show "he knows what he's talking about; The reason you don't "have free speech" on twitch or any other is because you don't own those tubes. Meanwhile the actual right of expression is under heavy attack, even (in some ways especially) in more developed countries like the US from entities that do not have property rights and use coercion.

He said "you don't know what you're talking about" so I was waiting for him to show he knows what he's talking about.
I'm sure choco loves free speech, but the first amendment doesn't stop you from being banned in a twitch chat.

@@Skarin1452 fair enough.
Laughing at freedom of speech kinda crazy. Mfs getting executed for words in other countries. Sounds like choco soft af, unfortunate
Freedom of speech has nothing to do with being timed out in a chatroom. That's why he thinks it's funny.
@@r0b0hobo Obviously getting timed out in chat is the same as living in fucking Iran.....you need to learn a thing or two here. /s
It's a twitch chat chief, nobody got executed. They got a timeout like a literal toddler lmao
This rationality is exactly why it's chuckle-worthy
