A little before your time, but prior to Hilary, Nancy Reagan was also at the forefront with her campaign of 'Just Say No', which was huge back in the 80's. Then you would have to go back to Jackie Kennedy Onassis. The thing I love about Bill Burr though, is that he's able to hit on mainstream topics with a comedic touch, the guy is a genius.

Eleanor Roosevelt had her own radio show, and was very public during her husband's 4-term presidency.
Jackie Kennedy was in all the magazines but she said very little while her husband was president.
She was the perfect First Lady for that time period ❤.
Steve Hoffstetter is a favorite comedian of mine. He's smaller and not as well known as he deserves, but he's funny, and he's well known for annihilating Hecklers. He has a youtube channel under his name. Hes got a bunch of clips so maybe just look for something that interest you the most.

I have to agree with Bill on this. Whether it's a man or woman in that office there are only about 600-700 /300M people who even come close to qualifying for that job. Everyone at some point has experience dealing with a household and various chores to maintain it.
Compromising and chiming in about household duties is a big difference between that and running the country and discussing foreign policies.

It's a decaff version of the actual one. Likely more tame because he was on a TV show. He didn't really swear on thisone. The original was more hitting on feminists and how they will be telling the husband of the first female president to shut up... That Michelle is doing attends tors and writes books... He was far more explicit and ditch in the actual piece on his regular program.
Lady Bird Johnson and her Keep America Beautiful campaign. She got a lot of flack for that {"if you want to keep America beautiful, then leave the country", those type of jokes), but it was meant to clean up our highways and get people to quit throwing their trash out the car windows. Okay, i'll stop now, I'm so old I remember all the first ladies since the Kennedy administration. And my mom could tell you stories about Mamie (Mom liked Eisenhower but couldn't stand his wife. Mom liked Reagan, but couldn't stand Nancy).

Male/female race/sex, doesn't matter. At the end of the day they're just another politician. And even the "good" politicians that try to make the country better are in an extreme minority. Corporations are what run things and that's not how it's supposed to be.

Yea Michelle hated fat kids. Southpark actually did a video making fun of her too. When I was in highschool obama was president and she took all of our snacks and drinks out of school including Gatorade. So I despised her I get it they want kids healthy but I swear our school wasnt even overweight. So kids went from eating a small bag of chips or brownie etc to just getting double lunches which cost more and more calories. Also if you wonder how much it helped just look at the stats that literally show it did nothing to help with obesity because shocker people typically stay slim in school due to young metabolism and gym class. However when they get out of school most stop exercising, start eating fast food, and start over eating because of stress and depression. I will never forgive Mike obama for going after kids

I think it's that a few First Ladies along the way were just a bit extra, and now the rest have to try and live up to that, because tradition for tradition's sake, is something humans seem to love.

I know you guys aren't too familiar with American history but there were many prominent first ladiess Nancy Reagan, Elanor Roosevelt and to a lesser extent Rose Cleveland.
I hate that I can’t remember the one president that by the end of his presidency was not fit for the job due to health problems and his wife was the one helping and practically running the nation.

Trump said he wasn´t going to accept his $400,000 presidential pay because he did not need the money. Then some legal expert told him that the government had to pay him under the US constitution. So he received just one dollar each year to keep everything legal by the law. And he donated the other $399,999 to charities and social programs which he believed were under funded. Sometimes Trump even doubled the donation with his own money. Trump focused on programs for American Vets and kids.
And who told you that? Trump? The same guy that defrauded charities, had his scam of a university shut down, and was sued by contractors for not paying the money owed them? That guy? But I'm sure he would love a donation from you.

alright here is the timeline when The First Ladies started to overstep in the role of being a First Lady and start chiming in way too much 1. Nancy Reagan then 2. Barbara Bush 3. Hilary Clinton 4. Luara Bush then 5. Michelle Obama... but with Melania Trump she did take part somewhat in speaking about 2-3 thing's, but it was very little and not overstepping the role of being a first lady

Yes that’s exactly why I like trump. The fact that he had his own money before hand but not necessarily because of the businessman aspect but because being in politics for 20+ years before u become president you automatically become corrupt. It’s no way around it to be in politics for that long and move up the ladder without being a slave to the system. Trump is the least likely to be corrupt in that aspect from the presidents we’ve seen and I would assume for a lot of years to come.

If they ran their campaign with their spouse always talking then I don't mind if that continues once they are elected. You get what you voted for. If the spouse was in the background and then all of a sudden once elected they started doing a bunch of stuff then that is annoying.
Also, all their pet projects like cyber bullying, child obesity, etc. is all just for PR. They don't achieve anything. It's just to show that they are a good person and they care. Complete waste of time.
