Wonderful summary/overview. However, the narrator misuses the term "synchronicity" when referring to the coincidence of Cervantes' and Shakespeare's deaths.
Good job Bob. I didn't know the parts about his early life as an imprisoned tax collector. Also, Nabokov also wasn't a fan of Dostoevsky who was a big fan of Cervantes.
Thanks for pointing out, Liam! We're planning on covering Nabokov in the future but we need to dive more into his biography first. I'm a huge fan of 'Invitation to a Beheading' and 'Lolita' is a masterpiece.
Great video! BUT, you need to speak more clearly. I can barely understand your soft mumbling voice, replaying it many times, and still not being able to understand what you had said. But I gave it a thumb's up.

Quite an in-depth analysis of Cervantes, thank you!
I love this book, especially the dark humor.
Tbis made me tear up a bit😢
