- This is a video where I am installing a new carburetor on my 2003 bombardier quest 650.
I purchased the carburetor off of Amazon and it was approximately $95 Canadian delivered.

Would have been the perfect time to do the thermostat and new throttle cable....the cables tend to sieze around the same time the carb needs replaced

I have just replaced the carburetor and battery on my ATV a would start before then the old carburetor crack so I decided to change the carburetor and now it cranks but won't start not sure what to do can also a little gas leak on the line going towards the carburetor cause it to not start
Check the rubber boot from the carb to the engine, I had to replace mine

@@PovertyPointCustoms I also have to install brake light and have 3 wires the connector broke so I have figure witch one has power
Can you please make a video about the clutch ? My 650 has a clutch problem...some one convinced me to change it and finally he was an A$$*****, so I had to replace the original one who was way better...but I do not like the sound, it's like something is about to explode !!
For sure, will probably be this fall when I take the side cover off (when I check the belt)
Does your gears grind when shifting?
I had a hard time shifting from park into gear, and it ended up being that the idle
Was to high, when I lowered it, it shifted into gear easily

While you have the carb off also check the intake boot that goes from the carb to your engine, mine had a tare in the rubber boot
Have you by chance done a valve adjustment on it
Not yet, but may check them this winter, I will do a video on it when I do
@@PovertyPointCustoms awesome thank you. I have a 04 quest xt and love the bike. It's been rode hard since I've bought it and still keeps going. I'm gonna do what all you did belt, carb and all that fun stuff but want to check my valves as well but no actual videos or specs I can find on this particular bike
do you know where i can buy a carburetor for a 97' Polaris Xpress 400L 2 stroke ?
I would check ebay or Amazon, that's probably going to be the cheapest area

I actually sold it last fall, bought a sxs for the family. It was running amazing when I sold it to an older couple about an hour away. Wish I kept it though, it was a tank!
@@PovertyPointCustoms I just got one. Watching your videos. Just finished the carb up tonight. It’s a pain to get it over the boot from the air intake. Having a starter/solenoid issue
