Something a bit different! Hope you like it 😇
Ps. Seems the audio came out low. My apologies, will fix it for the next one!

Awesome bowl Henning, the video was a great change up. The red came out strong, as did the ammonia chloride parts, and a shame how it cracked on you. However, you recovered well and the end result is awesome. Using the Taskmaster's shield design on the base is amazing, as is how you worked it out. If you do something blackened again, look at making and using an ebonising mix (steel wool and vinegar). Stay safe and thanks for sharing this with us all. P.S. the bottomless backpack was funny 🤪 (Dr Who vibes)
    Keep on turning.
    Cheers, Bluey 👍

Thank you as always Bluey! 🙏
I did consider using a black stain but was afraid it would bleed into the red areas and penetrate to deep to sand away.
But playing with fire (sort of) is risky business as well so I will definitely give it a go next time!
Thank you again for the feedback 🙏

I didn't understand what the ammonia chloride was used for. Can you explain?

      Ammonium Chloride is a powder.
If you mix it with water and apply it to wood it reacts to heat and burns at a lower temperature than the wood would do on its own.
In this case i wanted the charred effect without having to apply to much heat (as with a blow torch). But you can also use it with a brush or a stencil as a liquid branding iron.
Hope that clarified it? If not, I'll give it another go! 😊
      Ps. Thanks for watching 🙏
