I was the front doorman for 3 years . I worked the door for every one of Patties shows. It was a great time and I have some really great memories of those days.

I wish so much that I could visit pre-Giuliani New York City.

After singing a full blown performance of Evita, she does a full throttle cabaret act fueled by all sorts of illicit substances with vocal cords and lungs made out of leather. DAMN! This is exciting and bold. SO GOOD!

i had never seen this, but I bought the CD when it first came out. I was in NYC before and after this. On New Year's Eve 1980, I went backstage and met Patti. She signed our (was with a friend who suggested we contact her) posters. That poster is framed and in a place of honor in my house.

Does anyone have her first Carnegie hall concert? Coulda, woulda, shoulda? Ten cents a dance floored me.

I was a working -- if mediocre -- dancer for 30 years, but never experienced this variety of show business.

I had heard Mandy suggested to her to do a club act. Her presence was great, but hardly a comedienne. The choice of songs mixed.
But her mr. tambourine man is incomparable.
