It’s weird how much they expand under water.I do believe this one got broken off on bottom,worm still had a piece of hook in it.Hopefully still swimming👍🎣
It's not that weird. It's unfortunately actually rather common. The trout come into the shallows in the Fall and eat the senkos. I used to troll the shorelines in December pulling flies. I caught many rainbows, browns, and lake trout with senko type plastics in their digestive tracts. The baits get lodged there and expand. The trout cannot pass them - they die. I agree - bass fisherman should not be discarding plastics into the water.
Interesting and unfortunate Charlie...Thankfully a first for me!!! Although I don’t believe this worm was purposely discarded,rather broken off on rocks.People definitely shouldn’t throw soft plastics in the water👍🎣
