    I have used the plastic wrap tip but my paper always wrinkles and even tears sometimes, so I'm anxious to try the water technique and see if that works. I see folks really pushing down on paper with the plastic, but every time I push, it tears.

      I feel like the spraying helps stretch it some. Helps for sure.

    Hi Melissa. I love your work. I’m not new to furniture painting but am certainly not anywhere near your level. I have a question about blending. I know the techniques, using like colors, etc. I’ve tried to incorporate a few other of my favorite furniture artists tips and tricks as well as yours but no matter what my blends always look blotchy, and with brushstrokes even with synthetic brushes. I know to keep the paint wet etc. Is it just a matter of practice and repetition To get a smooth transition? Thank you in advance for any insight!

      Hi! Have you tried the best dang brush? For a ombré cloudy blend? It’s the easiest. If your working with lots of colors a separate brush for each color is helpful too.

      @@TheTopDrawerRVA I have that brush but have not tried it yet. I will though. Thanks!

    So pretty I love the sunshine theme. I am interested in using paper that I could top coat with epoxy resin. Are the paints you are using epoxy resin friendly? I enjoyed your video- thank you

      Honestly I don’t know I don’t use resin? But the paints are all water based if that helps you.

    Do you need to spray the water on the deco paper if you are placing the deco paper on a wood piece? Or is it just for a paper piece like your frame?

    • @TheTopDrawerRVA
      @TheTopDrawerRVA  Год назад

      I’d spray the back of the paper for any piece. Especially tissue paper. So for all

    Can I ask what size the picture frame is that you used for Here Comes the Sun?

      I’m sorry no idea and it’s long gone now.

    It is hard to see what you are doing. Perhaps if you did your work on a table it might be easier to see. Good work though.

      I thought we could see well but yes, maybe a table would bring it closer
