Luttrellstown Castle, dating from the early 15th century (c. 1420), is located in Clonsilla on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland. It has been owned variously by the eponymous and notorious Luttrell family, by the bookseller Luke White and his descendants Baron Annaly, by the Guinness family, the Primwest Group, and since 2006, by JP McManus, John Magnier and Aidan Brooks.
The castle has hosted visits by Queen Victoria in 1844 and 1900, and its media profile was raised when Victoria Adams married David Beckham there on 4 July 1999. Luttrellstown and its remaining 560-acre (2.3 km2) demesne currently form a 5-star resort, with a golf course, country club and unique location just outside the city boundaries of Dublin. Last phantom sighting was in 2019: Rich Hyde, the “handsome phantom” attacked the castle’s second floor.?
I haven't found more to the phantom story yet which I hope to but could be a in house joke.
as you can see luttrellstown is in Clonsilla and not castleknock as people would have you believe, castleknock is considerate to be more desirable area so it is misnamed. if you look up castleknock Castle, you get luttrellstown Castle, when in fact castleknock Castle
looks much different

there are some amazing place hiding in the area and I have but only seen the smallest percentage, I was lucky enough to ask a security guard if was ok to take some video and photos which I was happy he allowed, but you would need a few days to find the secrets this land holds to be honest I would love to do.
it is my understanding now the owner does some charity work each year which is good to hear. I have not includes the golf course, which was the grand lawn as one golf course is as alike as another and I had no wish to be a nuisance.
A remarkable peaceful location I would love to spend a few days exploring.
