Yeah, those ones are hard to trick. Especially if, like me, you're whiter than fresh snow, and the evidence of the forehead rubbing can literally be seen in the bright red of your skin. People either think you hit your head on something or you blush in a really weird place.
I tried the rubbing method when I was in 8th grade and I kid you not my forehead skin toreup and it hurt like a goddamn bitch, and know i have a big scar ln my forehead like I got slashed in my forehead with a razor. Just go to work it's not worth the hassle. 😂❤

What if you put the hot water bottle up to your head and held it on there for a minute, and then tried to use that thermometer or if you sat with your head directly pointed to a heater blasting at full speed for 5 minutes
Not a bad idea. Perhaps If I had one of those silicon hot water bottles, it would work. Maybe next time!

lmao my school has that same exact thermometer but a different color. also my friends always use the friction method where they rub their forehead really hard and it raises the temp

I think he just has some scarring because he does not have much of the white skin and he is not very young

try this
thin layer of sunscreen with zinc oxide can work to give a of colder temp, because of the way the laser works. its shooting Ir laser and the zinc at that wavelength absorbs it giving colder temp
you can test it by leaving a galvanized steel nail, sheet, or any galvanized steel outside in the sun, touch it after an hour, its going to be very hot, and read the temperature with the laser gun, galvanized steel is dipped in zinc having a full coating to prevent rust. so the laser hits the zinc.
because its a full coating the temperature should read freezing on the laser temperature gun

take a cup of tea or coffee or any hot drink and press it against your forehead and the use the thing, but if your using a mouth one drink a warm drink then use it

This is dumb. The way these are supposed to be used is you scan across the edge of the forehead. It finds the temporal artery on your forehead and shows the temp. It's not for just pointing! Temporal =Temple? Exergen Temporal Scan Forehead Artery Scanner is an example of one of the best, but it won't work the way this joker is using it!
